I'm not a follower of the Meydan carnival but I thought Brenda Bracken looked a huge price in the 5.0 at Meydan today.

I backed him on his first race here a couple of weeks ago when he ran a cracker to finish 3rd, in front of steeler who is a quarter of his price today coming up thE unfavourable inside rail. Presumably He is going to strip considerably fitter for his first run off the plane. He won the topaz mile at galway this tear in the manner of a very high class horse this year and ran very well thereafter winning a group race at the curragh. I wouldn't know the form of the arab horses but I would rate him higher than trade storm who wasn't a top class horse in Britain.

Case against him today is that he is badly drawn and possibly the jockey who while undoubtedly is an excellent 5lb claimer is very inexperienced in comparison to the other jockeys in the race. Hopefully he will have learned from his first ride at the course in the horse's previous race.

The 16/1 available with a number of firms is massive in my opinion and very worthy of a good each way bet.

The i'd be backing in that is Trade Storm , backed him in many of his races last year in england , has run some massive races here , and is the e/w steal imo....

He has an excellent record at the track alright wr but he is a horse I have never really warmed to tbh.
Apart from dubai, he hasn't won often enough at top class level imo and he was beaten the one time he ran in a real good race here on world cup night.
He is definitely a horse I could see being placed though as he always seems to run a good race without always winning.

The rider of van rooney was fierce agressive though, cut right across spencers path and nearly put him over the rails.
My horse was just outclassed.
