Sligo at 4/6 with Boyles looks a cracking bet and will be shocked if thats still available come throw in time Sunday.

Limerick have a new managerial set up and are going to have a lot of new faces playing Saturday due to players missing. At least 8 of the payers that started the last qualifier of last year against Longford wont be available which is a large chunk.

John Galvin, Stephen Lavin and Jim O’Donovan are all on extended breaks. Bobby O’Brien, Eoghan O’Connor and Derry O’Connor aren’t available. Stephen Lucey misses out due to holidays. And Andrew Lane is retired and there could even be 1/2 more on top of that come team naming time thursday

They have had a few challenges lately v Dr Crokes, UL, CIT etc that i have nt been able to find the results of but cant imagine they would matter much! What does is they played Waterford in a challenge 3 weeks ago and were destroyed all over the field. Were beaten by 4 points but could have been more and just looked like a very poor and average team tbh.

Now i know Sligo have changed their set up too but from what i see it has been a very positive transition and people are very happy with the way its going. Everyone being given a chance and a few of the younger ones stepping up to the plate. Conor griffen a name i have seen a few people mentioning to watch! Sligo have pretty much a full squad to pick from and would be very disappointing if they didnt have too much for a shell of a limerick team on the day.

Anyone from Sligo with differing views?

I went in this afternoon anyway - early season league not usually my thing but think the price is just too big

Good shout BJG, the one thing Limerick have had on their side in these kinds of games has been that they were seasoned. That taken away means that there might not be much left.

Well done. Early season League matches probably not everyone's cup of tea. But an angles an angle as they say.
