Poor racing today for a supposed "Festival"
Why not mix it up a bit if they are trying to get people to go both days.
Personally despite living less that 1/2 mile from the winning post I won't go today as the heavens have opened in the last 15 minutes.
Horrible day in leafy South County Dublin.
Wrap up well if you are a runner

Lustrumm i'm a little like yourself atm , shocking weather , i think the card is reasonably good and a few races to get the juices flowing , will give it a few mins before deciding...

desperate conditions at leopardstown serves to recommend stakes to the minimum.

my play today is to oppose my old friend boston bob. having recommended him hjh and gw, I have followed his career path closely since tallow. he will stay 2m4 on heavy and 3m on good/s, however you need to be a dour stayer to get 3m1f over hurdles on heavy and that he is not. expect him to travel as well as big bucks for 3/4 of the race and then cut out in an instant.

reve de sivola at 5/6 to beat him in the match is money for old rope, and the place lay should be safe unless big bucks goes wrong during the race.

Incredibly the weather is even worse now.

As for the race at Cheltenham the cleverest guy I know in the UK is opposing the favourite so that leaves us with Reve De Sivola and perhaps At Fishers Cross. It is a day for the RUK and ATR I think

SARWISTAN was very heavily backed last time and I dont think the slowly run race suited.   Perhaps more use of made today. 6/1 w+p
