It can't be that funny, Wonks didn't tap into his limited vocabulary for his ultimate word.....brilliant....!

Anyone would think that Arsenal had won a trophy in 8 odd years...I think you will find my glorious Reds already have one this season (Charity Shield) and are on the verge of another Wemberley finalWink

Not to mention the kicking we gave the Arse at OT this season!

Oh and it's 'climes' not 'climbs'.

Now get back in your box!

The OP can come back and have a pop when Arsenal win a trophy, Tony Wink

Testing times at United no doubt.  It was never going to be easy after SAF.

As in SAF in the stand at games?

No problem at all.  He is still a Director.  Hasn't gone anywhere near the dressing room or training, and is a big believer, confidante (as required) and supporter of Moyes.

yes..,just I know its causing problems for some?..ive never rated moyes..I was amazed utd gave him the job..hes won nothing..like some I think the glaziers made a big mistake letting him pick his own successor..and the dutch guy who moyes sacked ..said moyes ran a big club (everton) but utd are the queen mary?..im sitting pretty, (imo) I had a bet moyes would not last 18mths...im sweet I,ll be paid?

funny situation. they re-name the stand, build a statue to the guy as well. they then give him control over recruitment of his successor and in no time it goes t!ts-up

It's going well for your bet Tony, but I wouldn't be counting my chickens just yet.  If he can hold onto the dressing room, I think they will be patient with him.

He might still make top 4 this season, even if he doesn't, they might give him to next Xmas to prove he can be compeditive.

what odds did you get?

Ozymandius, what do you think of Alex Ferguson as a person from what you've gleaned over the years ?

That's a loaded question if i ever heard it, Reb!

I thought the whole hoss business revealed him in a very poor light.  On the other hand its hard not to admire what he achieved and that speaks to his talents.

No doubt at all that he's one of the three most talented Managers in the English game since I took a big interest in Football roundabout 1970. I'd rate Clough and Paisley at a similar level  From what I know of the three of them though, I'd have Ferguson a distant third in the "person" stakes.
