13.20 Baily Green (14/1 VC)
He's way overpriced at this,Id have him in at half that price.I would think his arkle from is closer to his true form than Aintree/Punchestown at end of last year. It's difficult to exactly quantify the merit of his arkle second ( I'm not sure I would take Henderson's post race comments about Simonsig not being right at face value-imo if they're not right they don't win festival grade ones no matter how good they are),Arvika legionnaire made a mistake early in the Arkle and injured himself (so can't draw any comparisons there).

Baily Green's seasonal debut was very eye catching imo over 20 furlongs at Gowran-Jumped with confidence there(not like his post festival runs)-if ye're looking at the replay, tell me what ye think of what happens after he jumps the 4th last, out jumps Sizing there but Casey seems to take a pull and concedes 4 lengths. Now I am obviously not suggesting anything sinister because he was off for his life in a 40k race but I thought he was considerate (and Mouse wouldn't be killing them on seasonal debut).

Arvika Legionnaire is a deserving favourite but is short enough for beating Rubi Light in a match and an odds on victory at Clonmel with Toner Doudaireas second.Although he is a course and distance winner-WPM has stated he has a preference for going right handed.

14.35 Speckled Wood (8/1 PP)
A chasing handicap debutant that is sure to be primed for a big Christmas run here. Herself and leigh Oscar were 8 lengths clear in a moderate mares beginners chase at Wexford but the runner up franked the form in no uncertain style at Down Royal. Smashing also franked her latest run over hurdles today, this daughter of High Chapparal and Like a Butterfly should have more improvement in her off a mark of 123.

13.50 Arctic Fire (5/1 PP)
I would be very grateful if anyone can inform me of the official ground he won on the flat in France before being sold??

I think he went into everyone's notebook when held up last off a sedate pace before finishing with a real flourish behind the tullow tank(worth watching from three out). This was an extremely hot race with the likes of Gilt Shadow,Minella foru,Very Wood and alonso well behind. I have backed him at decent prices for the supreme and it appears now that the ground has gone against him tomorrow (WPM has referred to the ground not being in his favour tomorrow and perhaps he won't run)

Leopardstown.
1.20 At the odds I feel Sizing Europe is a great bet.A fast run two miles suits fine and I feel the fav is better going right handed. There is enough life in the old dog to win this.
1.50 The Tullow Tank has the form in the book to take this . Moyle Park did look good at Navan but it was a maiden and he will need to be very good to beat the selection.
2.20 Bishopslough ran well in his first handicap at Punchestown behind the well in City Slicker and may improve enough to take this.

Limerick.
12.30 The Mighty Milan gets one more chance. Think it will win today.
2.35 Speckled Wood has a nice weight and seems to jump well enough to handle the demands of a big field handicap.

Good Luck all.

A day to be doggy wide for me,lack of sleep from last nights weather no help whatsoever.
Agree Santry in regards Sizing Europe, probably be my main bet as well, hoping it may end up a battle between him and A L which i think you would want to be with Sizing, possible that Kid Cassidy could come from off the pace but playing Sizing at 3,s.
Looked at that opening Limerick maiden as well Santry and wanted to be with Theo,s Well(noticed M.Winters has one for Hemmings in the last, one to watch at the moment),between your one and the Byrnes runner,s proximity to the Tullow Tank going to leave it.
Space Ship in the opener at Leopardstown is an interesting runner and might have a place prospect.
Hold tough for me and giving the green light with Gounyella,s passage over, hard not to be swayed by Dreaper,s bullish confidence tomorrow.

Although he has won on good ground, conditions are fairly different today than there probably will be at Cheltenham. That ground takes the race riding out of it as well-Danny Mullins could well **** the course at the festival and I'd prefer WPM to be prepping a festival contender than Philip Fenton. Sort of aftertiming but I thought it beforehand-what a ridiculous price the fav went off after only winning a moderate maiden, where he jumped the last 2 scratchily.

P.Fenton was on RTE there Tony, obviuosly delighted, while didn,t commit he seemed very aware 2m mightn,t be the right race at Cheltenham and mentioned the 2 1/2m also.

Mullins horses seem to be all going out like a lightSurprisedSurprised .... all looked to be travelling turning in and stopping

a few for interest each way for  the rest of the day
2.35 Pass the Hat 5/1
backed this fella for the troytown at 16 s ended up going off less than half those odds finished fifth ...drop back in trip will help .. Bug plus he has course form and has won on heavy plus the great mark enright takes the ride !!!!! .... expect this to go very close

2.55 Clonbannan Lad 20/1 Not ideal backing them in first handicap but this fella worth chancing ground and stamina no issues ( in a race where it might be the undoing of plenty others ) Think is is on afair mark of 133 on his runs with morning assembly

3.30
Like It a Lot 3/1
Thought he was very eye catching in Galway in October . No doubt Barry Connell has kept him for this this ... Barry Orr tipped up elliots one ( he would probably have a good line in that yard ) but i am keen on Like it a lot and will back him

Willie really suffered today at both leop and limerick , He got out of jail with Rockyaboya , as someone on here already stated ..It seems as if his horses are stopping when looking all over the winner , I was down at the last for the first , Ruby seemed to get away from it much better than AP who made a hash of it , Ruby went a couple of lengths up and it looked all over , yet he got chinned , Arvika  cruised up to them and once again found little , the biggest unset as for as i was concerned was Moyle , having took it up between the last 2 and having gone past tullow i started to roar him home only for the words to get stuck in my throat ...Again you could nearly see the tank empty , I stood beside Tony  Martin to watch the Dial a bet race  he started to get excited as they approached the last , culminating in a frenzy as the near the line , I was the first man to shake his hand and offer my congrats ...Overall a smashing day for the books though ...

You can say the opposite about Elliots workrider they certainly were not stopping, I'm not sure how good a bumper that was but the bloody thing looked like it could go round again, impressive even allowing for ground conditions.

agreed workrider seemed to be going out very tamely ... Looked a desperate day on the telly ..Rockyaboya hopefully improved your mood Laugh although Calli must be gutted being on cause of causes at 25s ante post ..

Silver don t know did you see the interview with barry orr ...you got the impression off him the elliot yard expected it to come home on its own .... of course i still ent off and back nolans Cry

Thanks lads , Dinglemick , I'd say Callit was going mad , I backed Cause of Causes lto and he did the same , looked all over the winner then gets chinned ...A great e/w call though and only Ruby was on it he'd surely have collected ....
