lots of meetings both sides of the water I,ll be backing 3 tomorrow, but only the bumper @leopardstown as it looks like the mullins show will roll on?..3.30WINSOR PARK, ran a good 2nd @fairyhouse and I like the winner (value at risk)the favourite getting 7lb off my selection and that could be the deciding factor? also weld has not run many lately so hard to know what his are running like? up north my main fancy is the crawfords MISTER NIBBLES 2.30 the 2nd to UPAZO looks good form as he come out and won in a canter @fairyhouse although this 2m may be a touch short, I hope the ground will help.limerick, I go for the bumper and a chancing a debutant from p.fenton DR ZOOM, who is related to a bumper winner,
best of luck to everyone punting tomorrow.

Sydent Pagent 1:45 the horse that stands out for me,had been entered in the welsh national and the paddy power but going for this easier option, can see him jump out in the lead and make all, have taken the 11/4 from powers think its a cracking bet.

Howiya everyone.

Dubai Prince in the first at Kempton at 15/8 look big. Remember him setting the tongues wagging after his 5l romp in the Killavulen Stakes as a 2yr old.
Report callitasucit December 26, 2013 12:01 PM GMT
At last the greatest day of Christmas has arrived!!

Main bets are Vaniteux at 7-2 in 12.50 Kemp, Twelve Roses at 9-2 in 3.45 Kemp, and Stuccodor at 5-1 in 12.50 Leop.

Price long gone on Vaniteux now, quite how he wasn't fav to begin with was very strange. Was very taken with him on debut, and considering how much Hendos are coming on for their first run, he looks an exciting prospect. In saying that, I would expect a victim from the last day, Champagne Tara to provide the sternest challenge. He didn't look off a yard that day, and shouls also improve considerably. Flat bred Dubai Prince wouldn't look to be suited by conditions, and in any case won a very soft maiden on debut.

Twelve Roses looked a standout in the last, the only pity being that AP rides. Nothing to do with his ability, just he is a strong travelling sort, that will travel into the race just aswell for a 10lb claimer as he would for AP, but with the champ being on board for Bailey, the odds compilers were quickly alerted. Think he is a steering job though.

Stuccodor runs in a very highly competitive maiden hurdle, but DK is 38% for hurdling debutants, and he really does know which ones will make the grade. This lad is a very tough customer, and looks sure to adapt to the winter game. Bringing a flat rating of 104, he could be really smart.

The KG is a cracking race, again very competitive. I nailed my colours to Dynastes mast many months ago, and am on at 8s, 7s and 6s. Im not deserting him now!! Have had an e.w on Long run at 11s, as he will be still plodding on when plenty of others have cried enough, and Champion Court at 50s. I don't fancy Sil Conti or Mount Bel at all, and having backed Al Ferof at 33s, 25s, and 20s ante post for last years race, I cant bring myself to back him today at 4s.

GL all.

The kind of day you could back a few winners and still lose money but I will go for.
1. The New One is not bad value at evens to beat MTOY.
2. See no reason why Cue Card is 4/1. The form horse.
3. Defy  Logic has a decent chance at the price.

Good Luck all.
Report callitasucit December 26, 2013 1:10 PM GMT
Nuts n Bolts looks a cracking e.w bet in 1.45 Wetherby, at 9-2 with Bet365, 1/4 odds place. Improving fast, he hosed up the last day, even a few serious jumping errors, the hike in ratings shouldn't stop him. It is less of a stamina test today, but it might just be that he is a vastly improved animal, having looked go have plenty of scope last year.

Report callitasucit December 26, 2013 2:46 PM GMT
Why you say that Ruby? They absolutely annihilated 150 rated horses off a slow gallop. Had TNO not nearly come down at last, he would prob have won by half length. Will be better suited by stiffer test of stamina at Chelt. I certainly wouldn't be disappointed. From MTOY point of view, I cant see him upholding the form, but again they have to be happy enough.

McManus horse banned for 42 days
By Michael Graham

Thu 26th Dec 2013, 17:42
Fahamore
Fahamore
(Healy Racing Photos) JP McManus’s Fahamore, who finished fourth in the beginners’ chase that started off the day’s racing at Down Royal, was subsequently banned for 42 days by the stewards.
The six-year-old gelding’s trainer Eddie Harty was fined €1,000 for being in breach of Rule 212 while jockey Niall Madden received a seven-day suspension for a breach of the same rule, and he was ordered to forfeit his riding fee.

The horse was beaten 19.5 lengths into fourth by Leish Oscar. The comments in-running read ‘held up, 7th halfway, ridden and no impression before 3 out, left poor 4th 2 out, kept on one pace’.

The stewards report is below.

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Fahamore (GB), ridden by N.P. Madden, and trained by Edward P.Harty. Evidence was heard from the trainer and rider concerned. Edward P. Harty, trainer, stated that he instructed the rider to give his mount a chance early on as he had not run since May, get him jumping, creep into the race and don't knock him about as he had encountered training problems with his stifles. He added that his charge made a slight mistake at the fourth last fence and lost his chance which he failed to regain. The exit of three runners at the second last fence left him in fourth place and he ran on in the latter stages without looking like reaching third place. He felt that his charge would improve a little for todays run and he had a respectable blow post race. He expressed his satisfaction with the ride. N.P. Madden, rider, confirmed the trainers instructions and added that he was in contention racing to the fourth last fence but having corrected him on the approach to it, he lost ground and with the front runners quickening at that point his own mount was flat footed and he just pushed him along from that point without hitting him. He added that his mount took a blow at the fourth last fence but galloped on in the closing stages without being able to pass the third placed horse. He felt that he rode to his strongest ability and within his riding instructions. The Stewards also received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer who stated that Fahamore (GB) was post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Edward P. Harty and N.P. Madden were in breach of Rule 212. They fined Edward P. Harty €1,000 and suspended Fahamore (GB) for 42 days. They also suspended N.P. Madden for 7 race days and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee.
