It was lovely to see small children of all hues mixing freely, what a wonderful experience for these children to learn from each other's cultures and grow up not seeing a persons skin colour but rather their character.
Enlightenment, no pun intended!
I saw this clip on the RTE news last night. It was lovely to see small children of all hues mixing freely, what a wonderful experience for these children to learn from each other's cultures and grow up not seeing a persons skin colour but rather their

Don't tell them the 35 languages being spoken there is causing problems, don't tell them that its costing a fortune in extra resources to teach them English, don't tell them that other kids are being held back by the nonEnglish speakers.
Immigration costs a fortune and is destroying the fabric of Irish society.

Ok, ok, ok, lock the borders, no one else is coming in or out.
Guess what, Borneo, that's going to cost even more! Though Society will be whiter, which you will no doubt find comforting!

The Irish that emigrated went for work and assimilated they were no burden on their new country.
The bulk of our new migrants are welfare recipients and are replacing our highly educated young people who are emigrating.

There is no evidence EU citizens who move to another member state are “more intensive users” of social welfare than nationals of that member state, a study commissioned by the European Commission has found. (Oct 2013)
I don't have the figures for Non-Eu national, but they are few and far between in Ireland anyway.
We do have better figures for the UK where similar fears are paramount;.
Of the 5.5 million people of working age who are currently claiming benefits, 371,000 are foreign-born. That’s 6.4 per cent of the total number of people on benefits.
That means 6.6 per cent of working age non-UK nationals currently get a state handout, as opposed to 16.6 per cent of British nationals.

We can get over concerned about foreign nationals whilst TRavellers are taking over towns and vilages with none of them doing a days work not to mention the crime they bring to this country ..with the government ignoring it only giving them more and more social welfare no questions asked ..be very interesting to see what percentage of the 400K on the dole are travellers....Kennys own town of Castlebar is one of the roughest larger towns in Ireland with travellers at this stage but no different to many others whilst all our law abiding young people leave in their thousands
