Have discovered a market on here which is pre-determined , yet there is still money to be made on it by flushing out the 1.01 . Have corresponded on it with betfair who say it is still open , and that the decision to put money up on it is between Betfair customers .
I am well aware of what caveat emptor means , and the situations in which it is still a valid thesis . However in this case the result of the market is over , question is , how moral is it to flush it out , and/ or will Betfair disqualify any current button pushing ?
In days where betting is going to attract more and more attention is it "good for the game " to leave a completed market open for whatever reason , maybe some people cant do handicap sums . Not everyone knows that 3 minus 2.5 is minus 0.5 , do they ?
One team is 3 ahead in a market where there are only 2 more points "for sale" . And the handicap is 2.5 , so market is over . My post was not genuinely disingenuous , and was in between racing !

Somebody just put up 1.08 to 100 on that market , took it needless to say . But if arkle is on the ball ..... Antone else have a look at that market , Ashes series 2013-2014 , "Specials" . England plus 2.5 tests . Aussies minus 2.5 is a clear winner unless I am mistaken . Cheers .

If England win the last 2 matches it will be 2-3. But with handicap that would make it 4 1/2 to 3 (or 2 to 1/2) in favour of England. (I presume there are a total of five matches).

Mixed it up with series score markets , arkle . Luckily I did not flush it out , 1.08 is my worst price although I started backing it at at higher and could trade out at a profit still if I want . Cheers .

Do OAPs have to retake their driving licence when they reach a certain age? Perhaps Betfair should consider a similar policy?
Kelly could cut loose on here some night and p!ss someones inheritance up against the wall.

Dont worry Ozy , already traded out of the situation from the 1.08 bet , taking the mighty loss of £4 to be discounted against previous profit which may still arise , which pains me but hardly breaks me . As for inheritance all my children have net assets far more than I have although I am financially comfortable and bullet proof provided all institutions remain sound . God bless Betfair for the good and busy years !
And there were some over on the purple site last night backing on the Test match at way under the odds available here . Check my posts on the match thread, put them up for anyone who wanted , I had run out of laying funds over there , could not accomodate them and turn it into the guaranteed profit we all like . I could not top up without wakening someone up in the middle of the night . C'est la vie .

We ALL make mistakes. The key is not to make them manifold or grave and to learn from them.
If I owned a bookies, I wouldn't want Kelly passing through my door.
