the most incredible thing about it was that yer man waving his arms was a few feet away from obama..if he wanted to assasinate him he could have?..so much for security..
Twas a big thing with Ozy, he was all of a do dah about it the other morning(see Nelson Mandela in running thread a little further down) Bored the feck out of most and lasted a half an hour and that was before racing and the jeremy kyle show.
cricket friend of mine tells me that pp have misjudged a market in the ashes tonite which starts at 2.30 am..first innings runs england under 310.5 is 5/6 he says its a gift from god..i know fcuk all about cricket but.....
Incredible when you think of it , Man approaches the committee , i'll do the deaf signing ,i need to pass on some insider information , ok go ahead , you couldn't make it up ..5 hours he stood there making all sorts of signs , while nobody thought to ask him who he was ...
Dunno Kavvie, maybe, England have a poor record in Perth, its probably the quickest pitch in the world, plus England are in tatters atm. If they win the toss, you would hope they would get above 310. Batting second, might be harder.

Extraordinary occasion. Anyone know the running order?
I believe there will be a Castro vs Obama rap battle.
I hope Enda has brought his vuvuzela.
your man must have been really enjoying Obamas speech , i believe he signaled , I have a dream.....

Wonks,
Memorial was an embarrasssing shambles in every respect bar Obama's speeech. An African to do. Should have let the Brits do it, they specialise in pomp and spleandour on these occasions.

So are you saying Black People are not up to it OZY , i'm surprised , my man ...
In the same way us Irish are poor at self governance (no history or tradition or practice) so too the Africans can let themselves down with their ability to organise such events. Its a learning curve.
We are equal, but not equally capable at various things. For example if you let one of them near your Missus, you wouldn't be touching the sides for a month after.
