a good question callit..its like closing the gate wen the horse has bolted tho..all the big priced winners have gone in for him.he will hardly keep it up.

is there a certain irony attached to this feat kavvie in that the premium advices (3) all lost but the freebie-available to all-won?

so you can still play without pay?

its a tipping policy fraught with the risk of annoying your select band of subscribers. I've picked up Mr McClean in the past for a similar flawed approach.

True Kav, its never fun to join a party after all the free booze has been handed out. But knowing Declan very well, he really is top notch at what he does, and although a 40% ROI would be nigh on impossible to sustain,  I would be very surprised if he didn't continue to give subscribers huge value for their investment. Its only a small sample size since the start of October, but the free nap would offer further credibility to him sustaining his profit figures. I unfortunately have to work for a living, and don't have the time to be putting into studying many different races each day, and tbh I have **** all interest in the sand, which due to his pace angles, personal sectional timing etc Declan excels, but I am more than happy to bet on his judgement.
Royal Academy, im not sure how him tipping up a 20-1 winner, 46 on betfair could annoy anyone who subscribes to him. Most if not all would have read the Hennessy preview and had a dabble. To keep the free nap going is a way of continuing to attract new clients, and in the expectation of a winner like Triolo encouraging them to use their profits to buy into the premium service. Obviously the premium bets are what he perceives as his best bets of the day, and the fact that all 3 lost on Sat, but the free nap won, well, that's gambling Royal.

callit....personally I think that trying to serve two masters (private and public) leaves too many loopholes. You can claim winning tips (not knocking the guy's apparent ability) but the fact is he didn't tip it up for money and this, to me, is the acid test.

most clued-in punters join a service because they are time poor and want someone else burning the midnight oil and, unless they are misguided, shouldn't be "dabbling" on the periphery. If you join a tipping service and continue to back your own selections or "less serious" fancies you are bound to lose. joining a tipping service should be no different than asking Davy's to play the stock market for you.

So how does a punter, paying for a service, react when he's told "I have three strong fancies today and oh!, by the way, I fancy Nicky's in the Hennessy?"

The reason Triolo would not have been a premium bet, was that the 20-1 wasn't big enough to meet that criteria. The 46 he went, most certainly was. I didn't back it, as it was only after the race I realised his Betfair sp(and I was up to my tits on InvictusLaugh). I am not disagreeing with you that punters shouldn't 'dabble' on their half fancies. Triolo wasn't a half fancy, just his current price didn't(at the time of the article) match up to strict percentage guidelines to merit it being a premium bet. I would be surprised if you find any of his subscribers complaining about his methods. Price collapse is always a worry to people subscribing to a successful tipster, but Declan is planning to keep the numbers under a certain ceiling to protect both price and the longevity of the operation, and keep both himself and his subscribers happy.

all the successful punters I know subscribe to tipping lines.....a sure fire way of winning......its a great idea......why stop at one or two.....subscribe to them all.....because the more ya ring.....the more ya win......
I appreciate why Declan would want to keep the numbers manageasble.....as you don't want the Jacuzzi to get too crowded.....

who d fk would pay 300 quid for a tipping line , ffs if you can't form your own opinion on a bet this game is not for you , also premium handicaps do not interest me , they will suit some but not my game !

As it transpires, when I stated in early December that a 40% ROI would be nigh on impossible to sustain, I was doing Declan a disservice! It now stands at 42.1%.

Toby, i think that those shrewd people who did buy in, and have paid a total of €600 for their 2 3monthly installments, will be very happy indeed with their €9,300 profit from following the recommended staking plan.

Im not someone that bets on another persons judgement very often( i make an exception in this case), but i think there are plenty on here that do. Certainly worth checking out.

I know of a person who wasn't happy with the service.....the winner finding was no problem.....but it was his position allotted to him in the Jacuzzi that he had a grievance with......he was made sit on the part where the bubbles blow the water up yer bottom.....also he said the quality of the champagne and cigars left a little to be desired......for those reasons he parted with Declan.....although he did say he won more money than he could ever count....

Stumbled across this thread but it confirmed my suspicions about the characters who were promoting the tipping line, through private messages. kavvie, callitafterucit, paulie walnuts AKA mincer and Ozymandus.
Some very unscrupulous characters on this forum.
Snap crackle and pop is mixed up with these charlatans as well.
That is why callitafterucit's posts were being removed.
Even in his parting shot post, he begs people to pm him with tips for Galway.
Let's hope nobody has been taken in.Cool

I don't really want to be mentioning a fella who has left the forum and it is a bit unfair to talk about him without him being really able to answer back.
I'm not saying your post hasn't at least some grains of truth in it but honestly don't know.
What is fact is myself and Callit exchanged quite a few pms, all were discussing horses chances or a strong fancy, this was innocent and nothing more than an interest in a horse or a price,i,m positive of that and there was no other motive other than a pure punter interest.
He did pm me with selections at Galway, 2 years ago his selections were uncanny, the accuracy was stunning,he had no reason to do so but did it off his own bat,i sincerely believe THe Gotchee it was just for someone to take a few bob off the books.
I can't say either way anything about any tipping line regading Callit, nothing of the sort was ever mentioned on any pm,my suspicions regarding others mentioned are well documented on the forum.
