today's betfair sps were unreal

couple of real close ones and one that hit the target at massive prices

well worth looking through the result sheet

Think I remember a 200/1 shot winning in England some years back .

Apart from connections or people who play the whole field , does anybody ever back a horse priced at 100/1 ( except occasionally for each way steals )?   Largest priced winner I ever backed was 66/1 as I recall , but it was a serious fancy and had won its previous 2 races . Price was wrong .  Not posting its name in case I attract an after timers comment , thats like being given the black spot is it not ?

2, Maoi Chinn Tire and Lights of Braodway both 200/1. Can't remember any here at 100/1 let alone 200. Biggest I ever done was only 25sSad

Way back I remember one of the smaller stables winning a big race In Ireland with a horse which returned at that time the biggest tote dividend in their history ( used to be half crown tote machines on course in those days ) . Subsequently finished up in Michael Vincents yard and won all round . Never a big price subsequent to that win needless to say .  Somebody might remember that one . Sprinter as I recall .

She was ridden by Clive mcGarrity , paid 240/1 i think on the tote , she turned into one of the great sprinters ...Backed her as a kid at Navan she was 1/10 in the photo but lost it to a horse called Boreen , it as one broken and skint child that left Navan that day , still a'int learned my lesson...
