Our Conor out of Morgiana

Was given an awful ride in Naas.  If he wanted to give him a spin he should have put him out the back.  Instead he got involved in bumping matches four or five times up the straight.  Barry Connell must be a shrewd Business man but he is a clown when it comes to horses.  €300K for Old Kilcash, €300 Golantilla, €200K for Sharks Point winner a few weeks ago.  God knows how much for Our Conor(Too much whatever it was)

For all the money he has spent he has no contenders for the top races bar Our Conor and it remains to be seen how he will go stepping out of the 4 year old divison.  He has been taken for a ride by a number of people and good luck to them.

I said at the time it was crazy running him in a flat race if he was going to win a champion hurdle. The Fly would have had him for dinner anyway.

a lot of the top owners have bought duds!..john hales paid 320.000 for Faustino rustico,..he bought 2 off mullins last year for over 200.000 and both only made the course once!i take your point over his buys and him having the shark as one of his trainers..but he is far from on his own..

Alan Potts has signed for a fair few duds of late........it's a hobby to these lads.

The agents whats there hobby considering advising people on bloodstock is supposed to be a job description.
