Apologies Newbridge ,
What do you make of his racing post entries?Probably not a positive that he has 3 entered? Hanagan riding one of them(Buonoratti beat yesterdays maiden winner by 8 lengths)-a wide open race. I presume the ground will be soft-should suit the Montjeu one who will be sharper.Interesting race but not a punting race. |

Looks a poor renewal.

The Hannon horse seems like one that digs in and gets himself into and out of out of trouble, haven't really looked at the race but if there are 8 runners and he is 9/4-5/2ish he would be one I'd probably play ew. I thought Geoffrey Chaucer would go for this, but I wonder have they decided that it is a bit late in the year for their better ones this time. Bar Camelot, recent runners and winners ain't gone on to much in their 3yo year. Maybe trends are changing.

I think Kingsbarns will prove to have been a good winner. His 3yr old career resembled that of St Nic, it never got off the ground. But he travelled like a class animal last Saturday, and wasn't overly knocked about. I can see him mopping up the good 10furlong races next year. Al Kazeem was the best of them this year, there wasnt much else around. The Fugue will surely be retired. Be surprised if he isn't fav for the Prince of Wales on the day.

No standouts for sure Calt but the 2yo's in general this year don't look a great crop by any stretch.
Toormore doesn't run Neil,Hughes rides Chief Barker for Hannon (10.0). On a side note any views on the Fugue for next weekend? looking at the betting,Gosden must have declared she is taking on the boys(around5/2 on here)-nothing trying to get matched for fillies and mares. |

Jeez made a right dope of myself there with my price(stab in dark not knowing oppo), didn't he beat the Fillies Mile winner, all out but you wouldn't know with him what he had or hadn't left. Normally a Ballydoyle shortie in this, if Century was the reall bussiness I think he might be shorter?
The Varian favs form looks very strong having beaten a decent AOB yoke in the Autumn Stakes. the Varian stable had only just gotten over a virus a few weeks before then if I remember right so I guess that makes the win even more meritorious. Given that I've just come around to him at around 10/3 and he will be the one I play I think, probably e/w (I know, I know). Stoute has a wide margin maiden in there at a big big price.....shows how bad things have gotten. I was quite impressed too Callit, I'd love for there to be a dry summer and for the Fugue to stay in, I think she'd clean up. Toronado was one that I thought would be 'the horse' next summer a la Canford, but they might just have soured him by running him twice when he was wrong and the numerous soft-palate ops. He didn't look the giving horse he normally is in that Lingfield bit of work. |

dj not a race I'll be getting involved in, that O'Brien is 3 pronged suggests he doesn't think any of them are outstanding, but maybe one of them will runaway with it?, the British ones are no great shakes, Johnnys Altruistic might run a good race at big odds?, watching brief for me.
