2.15 -Balnaslow
I can't see this been beaten(Dangerous/Foolish words but not said lightly)
All he does is jump and gallop and what a run at Gowran over an inadequate distance(2m 2f) behind subsequent grade 3 winner Art of logistics.
He has some very decent ptp form including beating Ted Veale at Loughanmore.
He will gallop these into the ground tomorrow over 2m 6f

After race at Punchestown Wed, 9th May, 2012 (1st) "we might keep Balnaslow going if the ground stays right. He'll go on good ground and if we could win another hurdle with him shortly I'd suggest to the owners that we go chasing next term - he's an absolute natural jumper". W P Mullins

Clarcam, must be a near certainty in the 3 year old hurdle. He was beaten by a well above average horse in Orgilgo Bay last time out, in what I believe was the best 3 year old hurdle so far this season. He has the experience to dispose of his rivals this afternoon. Actually, I think he could win this on the bridal. 11/10 is a good price.

Balnaslow had a hard race last time in Gowran and has been on the go along time.  If he gets any shorter will be a lay for me

The two the lads tipped never had a moments worry, well done boys. Ballinaslow could have won much much further had he jumped at all/or had Davy really asked him to stretch on over the last two. He was mid 120's over timber and you'd have to think he will be at least a 140's horse over fences.

I wonder might he do a Tofino Bay on it and be a novice that tackles handicaps and improve out of all recognition. Would a mark in the 120's get a horse into the Troytown?, he'd probably need another run anyway for experience purposes. He'd want to jump better, but they say he can and I think it's a viable target.

Clarcam was impressive enough winning despite being a little green. he doesn't have the pedigree of the typical juvenile hurdler and he might be one to follow now til Christmas. He travels well and as he gets stronger(proper French NH pedigree), he should start to finish his races better. Despite being untidy at the last, he was nice and brave when Davy asked him which is also a good sign.

Two good picks all told from Gotchee and DJ.
