Will back a few others for this event, but for the moment, the 14-1 SportingBet are going On Johnson is a must bet. Just opened an account there, and had 200 e.w. He is probabaly the most in form golfer on the planet at the moment, finishing outside the top 8 once in his last 8 starts, and that coming the week after his brothers wedding, so excusable. Very little in the way of cream in this event, and even less strength in depth, I would be shocked if Zach didn't at the very least repay each way support. He finished 10th in his only visit here in 2008, fading at the weekend after two cracking opening rounds. Considering his sky high confidence, supplemented by an excellent Presidents Cup, its hard to envisage a weekend collapse this time around. The 14s probably wont last too long, but Powers are going 12s, and they are offering 6 places, so that is also a cracking bet. Very much doubt he will go off bigger than 10s on Betfair.

Been waitin to back Nick Watney here for weeks and have had a decent cut ew at 18s

10-2-6 on his last 3 starts here and just starting to hit some form(2nd in the BMW, 14th Tour Championship and 9th in the Barclays)

Shriners

Nick Watney 18/1 ew - Decent bet for me, been waitin weeks for this!
Spencer Levin 66/1 ew
Kevin Na 40/1 ew

Perth

Rumford 28/1 ew
Korhonen 80/1 ew - massively underated and was expectin him to be half the price! Made evry cut bar his first start this season and 3 top 10s in last 7 starts and this is nt the strongest looking field
Scott Laycock 60/1 ew (see Corals went 250/1 for 10 mins today, will b palped but nailed on compiler just fked up cuz hed never heard of him)

Paul Casey was top of my list but cant back at that price personally the way he has been putting!

I'll have a look at the Pga event later in week but sky are showing PGA grand slam live tommorow and weds and I think the layers are underestimating our old friend Padraig.

Won this fairly easily last year and the 3 times he has played here he is yet to shoot higher than 69. Bar a poor first round in Scotland last time out he showed glimpses of a return to form. Against only 3 players albeit this year's majors winners, I think he is worth the risk and hoping Adam st al treat it like a burmuda paradise holiday! Plenty of money up on the exchanges too for this surprisingly.

Pod win at 8.6
Pod top 2, at 2.9

Korhonen is playing some excellent golf and is tidy in all parts of his game.

Mark Brown is interesting although I might look at him in some of the lesser markets. Played well last year and had a sequence of results around this time including 3rd to Adam Scott in the Talisker Masters. Was 4th in the China Masters and used that as the prep last year as did Michael Hendry who played so well last year.

Thought I might see 3 figures about him but he is shorter than I expected.

Are you sure they showing it live DP?? Usually only recorded coverage. Pod is a massive price. I might have a saver on Dufner. Little doubt Pod will take it more seriously than the others.

Yep Callit, 10 pm to 1am tomorrow and 9pm to 1am weds.

Mark Brown tickling me to Distant but probably just keep him for the golf forum comp.

Just checked. Starts at 2pm tomorrow DP, showing delayed coverage later. Would be torturous to watch anyway. Usually takes em nearly 5 hours for 2 ball.

Afraid so, outside top 100 now, no masters or us open next year either, will probably contend the odd tournament here and there but that's his lot.

Liking the price of Bo Van Pelt in Australia, in such a weak field was expecting him to be much shorter as defending champ, taken 17's.

Agree with BJG, all over Watney in America.

Australasian market now up with Ladbrokes.

Unfortunately they don't seem to grasp the fact that as a New Zealander he qualifies to be included in this market.

Main bet this week is obviously Zach. Also went with DeLaet e.w at 28s, Levin e.w at 60s, and Villegas e.w at 100s. Still convinced he is going to win soon. Only for a horror show on Saturday last week, he would have been right in the mix. Had few quid on here on John Huh @ 85, McNeill @ 75, Henley @100 and Tommy Two Gloves @ 390. This track could be right up Henleys street. One of the best putters on the planet, this will turn into a putting contest. He started 2013 with a win in a similar type event, except against a better field.
Brendan de Jonge and Hideki Matsuyama have obvious chances, but both appear a bit short in the market. 4.1 on de Jonge for top ten is probably a decent wager.

Mark Brown in the mix Distant, pity about the the 2 late bogies, thru a tenner on him there at 120 for an extra interest tonight to back up BVP hopefully.

Yes -4 would have had him very nicely placed.

If he does miss out on the places, I hope that there are 4 Australasians that beat him anyway!

Bo very well placed after Dustin made a mess of last few holes.

Ha ha, I couldn't have said it better DPLaugh. I would have no faith whatsoever in Mr. Simspon. Liable to shoot 3 over tomorrow, if the last 3 months are anything to go by. Topped up on Zach there at 50 and Henley at 130. Done yankee, Zach, Hih, Harman and Henley in 3 balls. Had good bet on Rayoumti in the 8.00 Wolv. Not near as much between him and the fav as prices suggest. Hard to see anything else winning. 9-2 e.w seems cracking bet.
