Morning guys,I have basic sky package at the moment,I cut off sky sports etc.I am paying €31 a month,as I have atr and disney etc.

If I decide to cancel my sky subscription what channels will I get, will I still get RTE etc.

I pay by credit card,so want to change from paying by credit card and just do it by dd from the bank, and think this might be the best way of doing it.

Any help appreciated.

If you cancel will they not take the Skybox back off you leaving you with zip?

You will get plenty of free channels on your sky box if you cancel but not rte then again rte is hardly essential anyway.

AFAIK that's the drill when you cancel subscription of any service like that, they call at a mutually agreeable time to take back "their" equipment, maybe Saorview might suit you?

Just won,t "channel" the pictures to you even if you have the box leaving you with zip in any case, think you would have to get alternative means to get the basic Irish channels.

I see thanks for the replies,I don't want to lose the irish channels and may reactivate sky sports for the christmas period so don't want to lose the box either.

I never use the credit card except for paying sky,and want to pay by dd instead.

Thanks silver will check it out

They normally charge extra £5 for not paying by DD, so change that first of all. As long as you are not contracted you will still get loads of channels but not RTE if you cancel, up here in the north anyway.
