What do u think of this view, espoused elsewhere, re Noel King as next ROI manager;

Great value on this bet at the moment, because, although he wont get the job full time by most manager markets, he should get it according to betfair rules, which state he only has to manage for 3 games. He has been guaranteed 2 already, and the FAI said they hope to have someone before christmas, but might not. There will be another friendly on November 14th. So, there is a great chance he will be in charge for that too. That would qualify him for the job according to betfair rules, and no other betting company.

The so called November friendly is during the time of the playoffs...we won't be part of those....we don't have a friendly opponent penciled in as yet...presumably we wait to see who is playing before organising it...if at all...therein lies the crux...maybe worth a shot at current prices?

Ozy don't bet manager markets bar laying favs, i think it's late in the day to organise a friendly for next month if there is one not already organised but i could be wrong about that.

A friendly means revenue though, and there is an international break.

I don't know though, a lot of logistics involved in organising the fixture..not sure what the protocol has been in the past during this play-off window or how late a match can be organised.

Ireland to play Friendly in Poland Nov 19.Ray

Houghton and Ruud Dokter will provide an update to the FAI Board of Management on the managerial appointment process before early November.  Traps appointment took forever if I recall, not sure they are in any great hurry this time around either.

King around 4.7ish on here now, around 9/10ish when thread started.
