on the club gaa

laois football semi final day.
portlaoise have been playing half arsed going through the motions so far in the championship. they meet the only real threat to stopping their sequence as champions in  arles.
I am told portlaoise are up for this big time and they have aussie rules player tuohy back, expected to be sprung from the bench. tuohy was just about the best irish player at the aussie rules this season.
portlaoise will win against an ageing rival outfit, the 5/6 on -3pt is the bet.

2nd bet is a club treble
portloaise at 2/7, dr crokes 1/6 and st brigids at 2/5....just above an 11/8 treble.
portlaoise and dr crokes(2.30 and 2pm starts)...will win, brigids have stuttered through the Roscommon championship, they are due a big one, and against a team that are professional losers of finals, the craft and cuteness of the all Ireland champions will carry the day.

Cheers Kl, best of luck.

Could be wrong, I make the second one an 11/10 treble rather than an 11/8.

Sonnet 18

William Shakespeare (1609)

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

behave boys...!!..we dont want any rancour on a successful thread
Report keen leader October 6, 2013 6:09 PM BST
would have been easier if portlaoise converted the second half penalty(saved) and not had a perfectly good goal disallowed. the ppower odds compiler who priced them at 11/8 to win laois 4 weeks ago will be  paying out bigtime in a fortnight as they will easily beat the other arles outfit in the final. tuohy was not needed as they were coasting in the last ten minutes. dr crokes won in a canter and st brigs dogged it out for another rossie championship.
who needs to be sweating on your man u man c etc when some of these club games offer real value...the firms simply do not have the expertise to get them all right.
Report Ozymandius October 6, 2013 6:21 PM BST
What part of 'I Love Keen Leader' can't you understand or come to terms with?
Report one last chance October 6, 2013 6:30 PM BST
Shuld have posted up burren for down championship a few weeks back they were 3/1 now in final they are 8/11 and kilcoo 11/8 but still feel burren will win it
Report richters October 6, 2013 6:46 PM BST
olc if burren maintain the form that seen them run up 6-18 in the semi against saval they could be a force in ulster
Report one last chance October 6, 2013 6:58 PM BST
Wudnt go by that scoreline as savel were brutal
Report richters October 6, 2013 7:01 PM BST
they beat bryanford so they couldnt be that bad.....kilcoo and the bridge was brutal......

I saw Portlaoise -3 drift from 5/6 to 11/10 with PP after this bet was put up here by K.L.. That didn't make sense.
Report wildmanfromborneo October 6, 2013 9:27 PM BST
Keen Leaders bets were already on,Ozymandius other than declaring his love for Keen Leader is like his pals a risk averse non bettor.
Report Ozymandius October 6, 2013 9:54 PM BST
Is this provocation really necessary, Borneo?  At your age, shouldn't you know better?

According to you on this thread, I am a sexually inexperienced, sexually insecure, risk averse, non-bettor.

This is the stuff of the playground, and again coming from a man of your age.  I don't object to some intelligent banter, but I mean, really?

Keen Leader's contribution's are few enough on here, without you interrupting them in this manner.

Didn't get on today but delighted to see forum king KL handing the bookies their arses as usual. Well done KL and followers!

You announced your departure because you were caught aftertiming naturally you couldn't keep your word,you have now returned after making an " important announcement " and are now harrying the only poster who can match Keen Leader.

Its not banter with me as I don't like you neither is it banter from you,you have yet to create a thread of any description on gambling or racing.
Report Ozymandius October 6, 2013 10:11 PM BST
Let's do this some other time, some other place, darling, I don't want to detract from this great thread.
