i know its a group 1 but after his "eyecatching" run the last day, 33-1 could be a big price.
silvergreaser, pa lapsy, punchestown, ye all noticed it too. what you think?

Certainly has a chance on form mitch on a line through Dutch Masterpiece and Russian Soul, RS was beaten narrowly by DM at the Curragh and we all know that COA was very unlucky or deliberately unlucky? behind RS.
Dutch Masterpiece is fav and COA 33/1?.

But isnt a wide draw in this race usually near impossible to overcome?.

Will love the ground Mitch(Maarek will too),quite a few wouldn,t act on it, might be worth splitting it and doing a little on the pm(if you can, option not on a lot of bookie sites) .
Jump from winning a listed to Group 1 is a leap of faith but maybe the Mallow run was no fluke, be on alright Mitch.

Finishing order draw numbers,

2012, 6,1,2
2011 9,8,2
2010 1,3,18
2009 3,8,9
2008 20,6,9
2007 8,9,10
2006 12,13,11
2005 5,7,4
2004 13,14,4
2003 7,1,14
2002 16,14,19
2001 1,5,3
2000 9,6,5

Going by those stats certainly not impossible to win from a high draw, but does seem to favour low to middle but not conclusively.

11.2,DJ Cape of Approval was touching 40,s against an exchange price of just over 20,s.
On the face of it Cape of Approval has a tough task turning almost 6L around with Maarek tomorrow, thought it all happened too quick for him at Longchamp, stayed on a bit at the end.
Has the soft ground and an extra furlong which should suit. Eddie Lynam has a strong hand in the race also, still a fair few in the field are just good handicappers. Maybe Cape of Approval is worth another ew chance at 25/1,anyone still sticking with him?

With such a big pot up for grabs its not exactly a vintage field, the vast majority of the field is made up of horses who contest handicaps more often then not.

Typical with these sprinters many of them have form that ties in closely with other competitors.

I agree pa the extra furlong should suit COA better, and at the prices it might be folly not to at least dabble a small few quid ew.

Good man Silver, thats two of us anyway, didn,t really get a chance to travel like he did in prior races to Longchamp, Lynam,s ones are dangerous and Maarek obviously, still thought the same as yourself regarding the rest, easy see him finish 4th or 5th but could well be placed too.

I notice Rare Rob is running in a hurdle at Cheltenham today, to say he was given a nice seasonal debut is an understatement, could be interesting as it looked like he had a lot more to give the last day if the jockey saw fit.

Just looked at that Gowran race and can see what you are saying, fact it was 2m4f as well. Good mark in relation to its chase one. Books taking no chances at 12/1 despite its form figures.
