Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to return and further contribute to the Irish Forum. Many thanks for all your public and private messages of support.
I wish to clear one matter up. I occasionally look in on the Irish forum and hear a certain poster repeatedly claim that I was CAUGHT AFTERTIMING.
This accusation relates to the following post;
At the same time you were backing a largely unproven animal at 5/4 up against 19 other largely unknown animals, I was laying Chile at close to even money against Spain (1-0 Chile after approx 35 mins).
Now I might yet lose, and it is only a friendly, but for me there is just no comparison between the merits of the two bets.
1. To suggest that I was caught doing anything, implies that I deliberately concealed the action in the first place. Clearly, I did not. In fact I openly disclosed the fact that I had placed the bet, past tense.
2. If my intention was to aftertime, per se, I would hardly choose to do so in an event with over 50% of the time remaining.
3. My understanding of the word ‘aftertiming’ is that it can imply that the bet was never placed in the first place. It was. I am not in the habit of lying. I have never told a single lie about myself on this forum. Not one.
4. I put up the bet at that point in time to draw distinction between a 5/4 ish bet that had just lost in a horse race and a bet with a similarish return in a non- horse 3 outcome event. I did not put it up to look clever in an ‘after timing’ sense as any allegation of this nature implies. I don’t do that and I resent the accusation that I do.
5. I clearly stated that the bet had already been placed, at no point did I suggest that you could still get on at close to evens at that point in time
6. Within 3 minutes, I went to the effort of alerting the forum that they too could now lay Chile at evens.
7. dj876 choose not to congratulate the success but rather to question the timing of the first post implying that the post was in some way disingenuous It was not, as detailed above.
I dislike and am unaccustomed to having my integrity brought into question in such a manner.
I hope this clears this trifling matter up.

It was a double dose of aftertiming.
The first element was waiting on the result of the Shesafoxylady race before commenting,when she lost in a photo he then came on proclaiming what a bad bet it was at 5/4 ignoring the fact that it was much bigger,this was compounded by an attempt to pass off a Courageous lay of Chile at 5/4 when they were actually a 5/1 shot.
We know he doesn't bet,we know he had no bet but he undoubtedly tried in Rocketfingers like fashion to claim a winning tip.
Ozymandius then goes on to say he never lied on here,this is the Rocketfingers line yet their whole persona here is a lie,the fake degrees,the false business,the pretence of his knowledge of Michael OLeary in Ozymandius case,Swiss businessmen in Rocketfingers case.
The lies are so pathetic that most here just laugh at them although Rocketfingers lie about unloading fortunes of money while a student on Sindar was a beaut as he tied himself in knots embellishing the original lie.
