Padlock, honestly couldn,t back Ireland,brutal against Sweden where they didn,t seem to have a shot on goal for the last 70minutes,saying that a bit harsh they didn,t manage a draw. Austria have beaten Sweden at home,drawn away to Ireland,hammered Faroes and Kazackstan(drawn away) while getting beat twice by the Germans.They seem well able to score goals which the Irish struggle with.
Don,t know a lot about the Austrian players being honest but surely if they can,t beat the Irish they must have one poor team.

I stopped watching and going to PREM football 3 years back.
As a amateur manager i could not stick it anymore and prefer to go to non league or schoolboy.

The money is sick but alot of the talent is not, nor is the bottle like it used to be.

Hoolahan can PLAY football. He should be the first name on the team sheet, if you believe in playing football the correct way. What we have watched the last two games is Hoofers Utd. Delaney should be embarrassed for letting the oul fella near this qualifying campaign.

Tbf he was struggling to hold down at times last season with Norwich, of course he's a better player than Salmon but his position is just behind the striker, desperate for a goal i can see why Trap made that switch.

I admit to been delighted at his appointment , slowly but surely his tactics became evident , and he lost my vote ...Robbie is a natural goal scorer , well past his best , my idea would be to play him for the last half hour of both those games ..He would cause chaos knowing he only had to play for a half hour , and would be bussing ...Without doubt Wes should have played both games , creativity was never one of Greenes strong points ...We have the makings of a decent team , without ever been world beaters ..Send Trap on his way , send those players , and we all know who they are , back to non league football and start anew....
