Sell out I presume , certainly limited accomodation when I was looking for it earlier in the week in Dublin area ( dont need it now , swerving the capital ) .

Dubs deserve to be favs , strong panel and they have been fairly faultless in their progress so far . So have Kerry though , they truly have come in under the radar  , now  outsiders of 3 .

Think it will be a cracker , both teams capable of brilliant football and not slaves to possession football . A small caveat though to the supporters of the odds on shots on Sunday , there was a definite weakness re the high ball in in the full back line , and I am sure I am not the only one to have noticed .

I expect fluctuations in betting early doors in running on Sunday , richters , similar to Mayo- Donegal match . The favs have won the last 5 match ups in the football , unlike the hurling . Looking forward to it , roll on Sunday !

Kerrys form doesn't amount to much. In Killarney a massive home pitch for them in the Munster Final, Cork won the 2nd half 0-11 to 0-06 with the ball hitting the Kerry keeper in the face in injury time, so could have been 1-11 to 0-06. I didn't see the Cavan game but they basically won it in 2nd gear only played for 20mins but at the same time weren't impressive. To win an All Ireland you need to have 5-6 All Stars in your team like Kerry had in winning years 2000 2004 2006 2007 2009. They had no All Stars last year and this year I reckon only Cooper is playing at that level.

Dublin beat Cork 1-16 0-14 but that should read 6-16 to 0-14. If Dublin had got all those goals the hype over them now would be unreal. I make Dublin on target for getting 5 All Stars; J McCarthy, G Brennan, J McCaffrey, M D MacAuley, C Kilkenny.

The Dublin half back line is exceptional and I cant see the ageing Kerry players having the hunger or legs to cope for 70 mins. This is the end of the cycle for 4-5 wonderful Kerry footballers, Two O'Se's, Galvin, Declan O'Sullivan.

Dublins price 1/2 doesn't excite but I cant see it getting much bigger in play.

Mordin , the Dubs create plenty of goal chances , but dont put many of them away . Thats the enigma ( if any ) that they are . The goal chances are coming courtesy of good overall play throughout the field rather than individual excellent forward play . Forwards win matches is an old maxim .

Kerry were brilliant against Cork ( first half ) .  But Kerry very often take their foot off the pedal , particularly if its ony a "qualifying" match , which is sometimes how they treat most matches except All-Ireland finals . Just wonder how much more they have up their sleeve .  Could be wrong , but opposing Kerry over the years has proved costly generally .

I would only back Dublin in running when it became obvious to me that Kerry had shot their bolt ( if that happens ) .  Expecting a good match though . And Kerry often start quickly . Keeping up the gallop is the trick though !

Agree with the above post Kelly, and was it 2009 that many thought the Dubs to be good things, yet the game was barely on, when Kerry had a good sized lead, courtesy of a goal from the great Gooch, and a couple of early points.

no bet for me here.as a dub ,i have a bad feeling about this game.i feel dublin have to go for the kill early but how likely is that?the middle of the field is where the game is going to be won, kerry will force cluxton to go long and if they can get on top in that sector, they have the class and craft up front to do serious damage.the dublin forwards have got to be clinical and take their chances, take the right options.i think the game will be played at a high tempo, very intense(kerry will not be found wanting there) from the throw in.it could come down to be a shoot out and be a belter of a game.tbh i cant call it.the 1-2 on dublin is a stupid price.

I'm with kelly on this one, Kerry should really have been out of sight first half against Cork, missed a plethora of easy scoring chances if they go over tomorrow Dublin could be in deep sh!t.

So if you look at Dublin v Cork and Kerry v Cork very little in it to suggest that Dublin should be such short odds.

Huge value on Kerry, get on!

good shout kavvie, didnt get involved myself but its info like knowing whos missing the players in club games that makes the difference,

kerry are overpriced today i reckon, the 1st half against cork showed the ability is still there and will also take the 6s ht/ft

Everything going to script so far .  Dubs full back line being torn apart .  Still cant pick the winner though , Dubs might be stronger from now on .

Mayo will be wanting a Dublin win , and fancying a field day vs the Dubs full back line .

Donaghy still to appear , but putting him on might slow down the 5 remaining movement wise .
By:

When: 01 Sep 13 17:06
Donaghy added nothing .

Well played the Dubs , Kerry wilted .

Great game .

I think Dublin might have won it anyway,Donaghy is finished and has been for a while.
Galvin only has 50 minutes in him nowadays.Dublin had Dean Rock,Mcanamman etc to introduce,Kerry had Brosnan and Donaghy.
As a complete neutral, would loved to have seen Gooch in another final-his guile in the first half was exquisite.

Good game and as DJ876 says the athletes beat the footballers. But the biggest blight on the game is over-carrying. Does Cooper think he plays to different rules to everyone else. Expected Dublin to win but nobody could have predicted the way things panned out. Interesting Galvin said that for him he plays 20 players every time.

Thought galvin should not have been taken off, dublin bench was much stronger than kerrys donaghy was poor when he came on....over 1.5 goals at 1.53 was manna from heaven

Kerry ahead with 2 minutes to go , beaten comprehensively on the scorecard .

As good a game as you will see in any sport anywhere in the world , played between 40 players ultimately  ( all amateurs ) , at a very high skill level in front of the largest sporting attendance anywhere in the world today ( pretty sure on that one , unless there is some event I dont know about ) .  All concerned have reason to be proud .

And I have a feeling the final will be a cracker too !

Just for a fleeting moment my 5/1 Kerry with both teams to score a goal looked on, you could never envisage Kerry ending up getting beat by 7 points, Dubs just about deserved it their superior fitness told near the end.

They'd be a bit worried that they conceded 3 goals and maybe could've conceded a few more?.
