Unusually no thread about The Curragh here but some decent racing all the same.

The fillies mile maiden rarely throws up a good one but think this years renewal will prove an exception,Gorteo Afternoon Sunlight and Red Raven will have no problem winning their respective maidens and like the winner Terrific should have no problem going on to better things.
The gamble on Terrific was sustained and spectacular, she was beaten nearly a furlong over seven furlongs on her debut but strangely the stewards decided no questions need be asked.

The Royal Whip was the opposite to the first a dreadful renewal won by a grinder and a handicapper, worthy in his own way but not deserving to be on the same list as some of the previous winners.

The last race was the Irish Field handicap over a mile and anyone who watched Weld being interviewed prior to him falling in in Galway would have remembered Weld stating " don't back this fellow at odds on because he is a pure good ground horse " he
Anded a decent gamble and lends some credence to my theory that Teofilios want fast ground.

Wasn't taken with Tapestry and think that's as good as she is

The Phoenix Stakes looked a dreadful race and watching them spread across the track with Sniper in the thick of things affirmed it,only excuse I could think for War Command is he might want further.

Bit surprised you didn't give Slade Power a mention, very decent performance yesterday. showed his Newmarket run was no fluke(had Shea Shea and Sole Power behind albeit over 6f) Has to be very near the top of the pile among at least the Irish sprinters.
