This Oscar gelding was pulled up in his only point to point start at Lisronagh where he started favourite, looks like he is going to start favourite in the first Galway bumper today.

Henry De Bromhead was interviewed after the victory of Darwins Fox and said he has no idea where the money came from for Miller Of Glanmire and although he is a good horse he didnt seem to fancy him.

The question is has De Bromhead learned from Willie Mullins about deceiving the betting public.

Punting owner and selling owner.

No surprise to see it well supported if it is showing plenty of ability.

Agreed but surprised at De Bromhead all but saying he didnt really fancy it.

I did not hear that - Not watching ATR at all but I never listen to trainer comments anyway.

I think we can take from that that Henry De Bromhead tells the truth.

David Roche looked a nice rider there.

As bad as bet as i've ever seen here Wikdman. Trainer says horse won't win you still put it up.

He always does Wildman. IMO there isn't tuppence worth of business done in the morning any more, it is all electronic adjusting. Try going into a shop and having a Grand on one in the morning and see what happens.
Take the Elliott horse in the 4th. Laddies had it at 13/8 at one stage and it ends up going off at 3/1 (still well backed but 3/1 the right price)

I posted about that yesterday with Barry Orr and Hayley from LAddies on for a big piece everyday on the market. Its only all guff

Borneo, you missed your big chance to finally break your duck with the pink button.  Your natural reflex to see a conspiracy around every corner has cost you again Laugh

Rocketfingers " As bad as bet as i,ve ever seen here Wildman".
Unreal, from someone that thought Donegal were a value bet today, you couldn't make it up.

Wildman-What did you expect him to say even if they were having a punt on him??
If you owned him and had paid thousands in training fees, would you be pleased if the trainer announced on ATR that he was well fancied??

Whatever about Mullins putting RP readers away on the chances of 2 of his own in the same race,I can't understand how you expect a trainer to mark a punters card on a bumper debutant.

I noticed on another thread that Gleeson was criticised for not informing RTE viewers that his Dermot Weld trained Galway bumper runner had a chance (even tho he was a fortunate winner and they weren't even that confident)

I laid it alright and laid it at just over 7/4.

De Bromhead told the truth and fair play to him.
Report Rocketfingers August 4, 2013 5:28 PM BST
That's like me coming on and saying i laid Donegal after 10 seconds and actually won money Laugh

I put up a thread telling the forum that De Bromhead didn't fancy his horse in the Galway bumper,Rocketfingers with his infamous inability to follow threads thought I recommended ye back it,Ozymandius gets that the post is a negative but hopes I haven't laid so posts something negative.
Report Ozymandius August 4, 2013 5:52 PM BST
I read that opening post as you questioning the trainer's integrity and of course you creaming your Jockey Y fronts at the prospect of conspiracy afoot.

It now appears that the Op was designed to inform the forum that the horse should be laid.

Your vulgarity to the fore again.

It was a rhetorical question and more a reflection on Willie Mullins who has written some shall we say misleading stuff in his Racing Post column, something I highlighted at the time.
