If its half as classy as its namesake it would be a cert, of course Welds has to respected at Galway, going by the bettng its a two horse race, you can back O'Briens and Welds wins or vice versa but essentially its either one or the other.

I hate races like this for the same reason as silvergreaser,it happens to me nearly every time at Galway so I tend to leave them alone,if I was going to bet this time I'd go for the O'Brien hoss.

Left the race as someone said to me last night that they thought Welds was a cert. Winner is well named, hope he is a good one as he is called after one of the greatest footballers of all time.

5/1 bit of a joke. Especially as I like Henry's horse that ran in Killarney and looked like will come on a tonne. Willies clear form. Peter fahys ran good time in Killarney but think that was on inside track!??  Might be a place lay as connections may fancy a horse not good enough. Seems to be worst kept secret tooo
Report mushroom23 August 6, 2013 11:27 AM BST
Yep way too short, the 3 that ran over the week in Killarney all set a decent standard.

did they land the gamble? i looked at the card, my guess was COME TO HEEL,reason was a combination of elnadim and the trainer, M'SELLE won the other day and thats an old notebook, one of the less successful ones. same sire elnadim.
