All you layers can get your laying boots on and take on Tarfasha in the 6.10 in Galway tonight.

She ran in a mile maiden in Leopardstown and got what can euphemistically be called an easy,Smullen never moved a muscle on her and amazingly got away it.
On first viewing she is visually impressive but it was a three horse race, she is now back a furlong and has some opposition Ballybacka Queen was second in a Curragh maiden over this trip and looked progressive,Murtagh has a runner and Wachman has two so not the usual no opposition scenario..

Tarfasha is by Teofilio so every drop of rain that fell is against her, throw in the inconsistency of fillies and we have a decent lay.

I will also be backing Ballybacka Queen.

Left the laying alone but will have a small interest on Ballybacka Queen.

First pictures from Galway show a lovely day with a drying fresh breeze, no rain all day apparently. Officially yielding and fresh ground. Weld horse stood in the first

Save your moola wildman and avoid laying Tarfasha, if the others got a furlong head start they wouldn't beat this filly this evening

wildman Teofilo progeny seem to be very versatile as regards ground conditions, they're certainly not dependent on fast ground, Teofilo's most impressive performance was when there was a bit of ease in the ground at the Curragh.

The lack of rain is a blow but she still is a Teofilio filly going from good to firm to yielding also she is coming from a three runner Leopardstown maiden whereas Ballybacka Queen ran in a  big field Curragh maiden.

Tarfasha has a group 1 entry at Newmarket in Sept.
The horse she should have beat Geoffry Chaucer holds 2 group 2 entries,
Obviously Tarfasha well thought of, looks as Ballybracka queen running for you and while that was a decent enough maiden don't think it is good enough. Couldn't touch Tarfasha at 2/5 all the same.

Fair points Pa Lapsy and thanks as I need something to make me put the brakes on,already in too deep.

Wachman horses can win unbacked and fillies are liable to do anything.

Looked at your thread this morning about Tarfasha's debut and the race again, got such a gentle ride, sorry i didn't take the 4/5+ that was on him here then. Anyway not getting a whole lot right with them myself lately, don't take too much notice. Hope you get a result.

WTF were those jocks up to , fav misses the break and they have a chance to close her out , none of them closed the gap on her , unreal...
Report Bigwillystyle July 30, 2013 6:22 PM BST
Think all the jockeys must have been on the fav. Misses the break and is allowed through a gap you wouldnt see anywhere.  Too make matters worse Doopy Whelan got great break and should have gone to the front and put the pressure on but decides totake a pull
Report lustrumm July 30, 2013 6:54 PM BST
Don't think it mattered but a fair point re the jockeys, the little men all seem to be afraid of Smullen in BallyBrit. Even there on Tandem after missing the break they left him get to the outside when he should have been creamed on the inner

Best horse won, missed the break and still won by 3 and a half. Wildman knows this and has taken to ground. Some place in Ireland there is a happy Kingrat walking around with pockets full after seeing this thread.

^^ WAC.

There is no doubting best filly won.

I did previously advise Kingrat rather than lay Pa Lapsy selections he should punt my lays far more profitable.

Apart from the money lost I was hoping against hope that filly wouldn't win as she was pure stopped last time and no other trainer would have got away with it.
