I,d like to ask you lads opinion on the fav QUINVILLE CASTLE? the form looks good enough behind the mullins horse that won the other day but the trainer has never won abumper? im more likely to back COOPERS JOY E/W well behind what looks a nice horse SUPREME BALLARINA, who im told will run in a winners race at wexford Friday..but as I said I,d be grateful for any of you lads who know more about the fav,s trainer?..good luck all

He's an ex-Kilkenny hurler if that's any use to you
Trains in Kilkenny and Top cat henry's win last time out was his first winner over hurdles for the season, but wouldn't have huge numbers in training
Has trained at least 4 bumper winners and probably more,Rickardstown,Smokey Joe Joe.The Kings Sword are three i can think of.

I checked the atr ratings and its says he,s never had a bumper winner?..but I was right about the horse anyway..but thanks for putting me right if the states I got were wrong?

Yep ,Tony ,By Purpose is spot on....actually trained 8 bumpers in last five seasons....Trained Burrinbridge Lodge to win the Lartique Hurdle at the Listowel Festival last year...No back no. of a trainer by any means .But as you said you were on the money about last nights runner.

Tony you should email M Chapman at atr next time he is on and describe your views on their stats as in your post above. .Worth anything to hear his reaction to that.
