I fancy him to shoot a 68 again today but it is not enough. No pressure, a course he likes and his dander up. Perfect for him and no chance of him winning so he won't get the yips. That can't be said for Westwood who is the lay of the Millenium

Hope Westwood can guts it out - if anyone can be said to 'deserve' a major it's him .
Prolific winner , former World No.1 -his name would not be out of place on the trophy.
But will his brittle putting hold up ?

Think if you were looking at Garcia,Matsuyama and Donaldson on the same score but at the 300 mark should come into consideration, need an awful lot to go your way but if the expected Westwood implosion happens its a sporting wager.

jason day(80s) is a cool dude he can handle pressure..he could sneak into it..

Ryan Moore might hold his nerve better than most and go very close , he's playing well without setting the world alight , the profile of a lot of recent winners of this if you think about it ....

Not sure I agree with Jason Day handling pressure. Had his chances to win majors and fell away every time. 1 pga tour win is a poor return for a player of his talent.
Having said that I will be having a sizeable bet on him at Firestone next week. A WGC win is a good stepping stone to a major. Day undoubtedly plays better in stronger tournaments.
Can't see past Tiger or Scott today. I'll be very upset if Matsuyama misses top 7 by 1 shot :(
