The ice cream man will have a beano but for me the bet is that rare bird a lay.

I know how dangerous this is but he is the odds on shot Dr Schultz in the bumper.
It looks a poor enough race but this is a poor enough horse, they had some money on him last time in Kilbeggan where he was very disappointing,he looks slow to me and I am not sure the fast ground will suit him.

He is owned by his jockey who is just back from Australia, that's another negative how fit will he be ,a young man on the tear in Australia doubt if he kept fit over there so may lack assistance from the saddle.

Enough negatives for me to make this a lay.

Shocking Bumper,no bet race for me.
I wouldn't dream of backing Dr.Schultz(even tho step up in trip will suit but ground would be a concern) but I am not sure I would lay him either if Elliot's presenting mare isn't fancied you wouldn't have a whole lot running for you.
The market should be revealing,if rumours are to be believed regarding the activities of the owner of the favourite.
I wonder does WPM approve.

Tom Hogans runner Dun Scaith could be interesting.
Report dj876 July 19, 2013 5:48 PM BST
He had a bumper winner at Sligo recently,it wouldn't surprise me if there was a shock.
An extremely moderate card,do you think Stonemaster is genuine(weak race tho)?
Report kavvie July 19, 2013 5:55 PM BST
even tho fav was 4th he wasnt beaten  far.if elliots isnt any good thers nothing else in it really.
Report wildmanfromborneo July 19, 2013 6:03 PM BST
Stonemaster is not genuine,I would back him at odds on if he was.
Report dj876 July 19, 2013 6:09 PM BST
0/14 over fences, might see if I can lay him shorter in running.
Report workrider July 19, 2013 6:17 PM BST
Looks like they came for the Doctor ...10/11 into 4/7....
Report kavvie July 19, 2013 6:23 PM BST
good lay at 4/7 all things considered
Report dj876 July 19, 2013 6:25 PM BST
Where can you lay him at 4/7?
Report kavvie July 19, 2013 6:27 PM BST
i thought wr said he was 4/7
Report dj876 July 19, 2013 6:29 PM BST
He's probably around 4/7 with PP,but he is 1.75 to lay on here.
Report kavvie July 19, 2013 6:34 PM BST
assumed he meant here.apols
Report wildmanfromborneo July 19, 2013 8:10 PM BST
The Stonemaster layers were thieved,he was refusing all the way round and either of the fallers would have beaten him.
Report dj876 July 19, 2013 8:17 PM BST
Went as low as 1.05,laid him at 1.4 and 1.23,annoying that BF don't open the market on photos at smaller Irish meetings because they don't have a rep there.
Report wildmanfromborneo July 19, 2013 8:20 PM BST
The sad thing is you will never get your money back as he will never trade low again and never win again.

Betting gone mental the last few minutes. GL
Report wildmanfromborneo July 19, 2013 9:13 PM BST
I shouldn't be let out.

The foul mouthed Kingrat is always pretending he lays some of the selections on here, better off backing my lays.

Chin up, Borneo, your luck will turn soon.

It's always darkest before the Dawn (Approach).
Report wildmanfromborneo July 19, 2013 9:25 PM BST
Luck had nothing got to do with it,just a bad pick.

I have said it before but laying is the hard bit, makes you appreciate them bookies a little bit.

When I use the term bookies I mean the lads standing at the meetings not the offices and the SPs surely don't reflect how they bet, they never used to.
Report pa lapsy July 19, 2013 9:35 PM BST
Awful lot thought the same as yourself,it was a big drift,2nd fav ran no race.Dr Schultz seemed to like the better ground.
Report wildmanfromborneo July 19, 2013 10:06 PM BST
I would say the drift was caused by the avalanche of money for Just Eile,I would say Dr Schultz is for export.
Report kingrat July 19, 2013 11:01 PM BST
