Two outstanding bets for me tonight and unusually for me both fillies.

Neophilia 5.40
This improving filly is up 12 pounds, she is by Teofilio which means she loves the firm ground.
She won going away in Gowran Park stepped up in distance at Leopardstown where I punted her,she was ridden by Rory Cleary and she never settled she fought him for the first eight furlongs,I would have gladly got out of my bet at any stage, when he gave up the fight she galloped on and incredibly won.
Rory Cleary rides again but he now knows what to expect I think he will let her stride on and think she can win easily.

Sunday Serenade 8.55
They obviously thought plenty about this mare as she made her debut in a listed bumper, they next ran her at Down Royal in a winners bumper where they also ran the heavily punted Nathan's Pride she was a 33/1 shot and like all these unfancied runners gave the fancied runners a decent start and again as usual on the outside. She then started to stay on without really being asked and picked them up with ease, that was some run.
Its a lady riders bumper and Sunday Serenade has the best lady rider by some way on board in Jane Mangan.
Aidan OBrien runs Brave Hearted with Sarah OBrien riding and although she is improving she is still very weak,he is by Galileo which to me is a negative on that ground.

lady derrinlaur 8.55 4th LTO , was a very good time fast (2.00), plus A P O'BRIEN has a runner well bred type could be usefull.
sunday serenade should appreciate the step up in distance. no bet for me. few dangers in that race.

Not Hayley's finest hour but don't be too hard on her that meeting is probably a holiday for them.

You always want to be on a three year old in an all aged maiden, even more surprising that anyone could have put the Aidan OBrien trained Galileo colt at anything other than favourite.

Is there anyone that got anything on at a price above 2/1.

Well done Borneo.

You have had good picks of late but let down by your choice of punt, i.e. trixies and doubles normally associated with betting shop mugs.
