We are all civilised on here(to a point) Most realised the sending off was the turning point of the match and a pity it happened. Limerick were playing well enough til then anyway so may have won in any case.
Nobody would begrudge them their win and good to see counties that previously had no hope for years now having a realistic chance of Liam.
For Cork, they now have to beat Kilkenny in 2 weeks, still hope for them but would have to play better than yesterday.

Have to take exception to that PaExcited, we'd have pissed up however many ye had on the field. Limerick have serious fire power up front. Cork just don't have the players. Serious problems down there, whoever wins County Championship down there seems to get well beaten in Munster and for a team made up of 23 and 24 year olds, the record those players had at U 21 and minor is unremarkable. Cork are in trouble.

Graceless I know, but it has been years since Limerick have had a team as good as this.

Neilld, very close til that sendin off, i thought Cork were fractionally on top but anyway they have no consistency, they destroyed Clare and should have been on a crest. Still have faith in JBM and maybe they needed a kick up de whole.
Good to see Johnny Allen teaching ye the finer arts of hurlin up there anyway.

He has plenty to work with!! Alternatively Limerick never hurled and were still only a few points down, that is the exciting thing about them, the lads up front waste very little these days which is a completely new thing for Limerick. I think we will win it this year Pa, but then I'm a one-eyed fooker on these matters. Best of luck against the Cats, personally I would like to see ye win as I always like to see Cork win if Limerick ain't involved as has been the case plenty in the last few years. I think ye lack in the forward line though. Horgan and Cronin are top notch but there ain't much there apart from that to me unless Lehaane and O'Farrell train on quickly.

I remember the last time ye won it,fine team too with Pat Hartigan, Grimes,Cregan and Joe Mac(some of them not bad horses either).
Think it could do with a change from Kilkenny winning again for the overall good and they are looking very vulnerable this year. Being a bit cycloptic meself took a little 12/1 on the bounce back. If its not us really will be shouting ye on.

Cheers Pa, ye probably have a right shout in the football if ye get the tactics right. I sense I am in for a fall somehow. Cork supporters always very good in defeat anyway. Gutted I wasn't there for it yesterday.

Fair dues to Paudie O'Brien to ring Pa Horgan and explain it was nothing to do with him and in fact the ball hitting him in the face.
Nice thing to do and hopefully that will go a long way to see Pa line in 2 weeks time.
