I brought a horse to cork last night and it was like afghan there. Never saw so many horses to break down. Ground was out of this world and no way should racing go ahead on such ground. Even horses tht needed good ground wer breaking down. V poor by cork race course

Which horses broke down, Jumping? There were four and five horses killed at their previous meeting there.

It has been the same there since time began and the re-laying for the new track made no new difference. We used to work horses there years ago and on ground like this you would fear for your life on the bends. Whatever it is about the soil in that area near the river down the back when it dries out it is treacherous even to walk on

The gotchee. U clearly have never schooled a horse in ur life. No horse likes landing on two legs on firm ground. Jaysus

If things were that bad any trainer worth his/her salt would pull the horse out.
