Yup-a treble to kick off this evening's mundane Naas card -but this man can do it all from handicaps to 2-y-o champions to AW winners to International Gr.1s. Who can forget Istabraq and all his NH winners , his epic handling of Yeats to win 4 Ascot Gold Cups? He's hardly half way through his career and he's going to rewrite the record books. Year after year ,against the background of sky high expectations he keeps delivering the goods. Some wise wag once said that genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. That description fits the indefatigable Aidan who is certainly industrious and diligent -but has that extra 1% that makes the whole operation such a world class success. He is under no obligation to offer us philosophical insights or have us rolling about at his original line of patter or repartee -he just gets on with what he excels at and lets his horses do the talking. A great Irishman of whom all right-thinking people will be justly proud.
I think tonight we may have seen another genius from the exemplary OBrien family in Ana,she is quickly turning into a fine jockey and was quite brilliant tonight on Waver.

He MUST go back to multiple entries for the Group 1 races. The Irish Derby was lost before it had even started with Ruler Of The World boiling over.
The Oaks on Saturday week is a good starting point as it might frighten off the Epsom 1 2 3.

Andre Fabre does not use it and he has not done too bad!

Aidan trains a first time hurdles winner at Clonmel today -showing again that he is still truly the master of all genres....a giant of the first rank ...an Irish sporting superhero...the ultimate benchmark of brilliance.

What is dumb about the question? Please elaborate.
You are a smart ar$e Vubiant and you don't like it when people question your opinion. He ran the horse in 2 bumpers and couldn't win with it. If you knew anything about form and pedigree analysis you would clearly understand why Carriganog won today. Sadly your time on here seems to be taken up with silly juvenile jokes with a bit of golf thrown in. You would be better served on the Chit Chat forum where you wit might be better appreciated. I am always concerned when people laugh at their own jokes. There is help out there for people like you.

Vubiant is just skitting here although I think Aidan OBrien is a genius.
With regards Carriganog he did fail to win a bumper and he was sent to Con Power to learn how to jump,he is then ridden by Cons son Robert so maybe the credit should go to the Powers.

A P O'Brien on the 'cold list' ? Yeah ,that's a good one alright. Mind you he'd had two losers since his last win so he must have been getting worried.
Worth noting too that his win percentage in Ireland has edged up since Joseph took over and is considerably up this year -an amazing 27% so far. That's probably just a coincidental spike as we all know Joseph is rubbish. Astute critics are also aware that Aidan is really no great shakes and that the horses train themselves and enter themselves in the right races. Only a matter of time before O'Brien is sent packing from Ballydoyle and exposed as the fraud he is.

I don't know if AOB ever saw the horse in his life -he's the person responsible for the horse's career -if the horse achieves it is entered under O'Brien's stats. his stats. All the more remarkable, one might say,if a trainer can get a horse to win without ever seeing him. I know nothing about background arrangements or connections -as some on here purport to do- all I'm concerned with is the public record and visible doings of one of Ireland's highest performing sporting personnel -as horse racing is normally classified under the heading 'sport' -featuring public competitive contests under set conditions with a body of rules applying. Internal manoeuvrings in stables are no concern of mine -nor of 99% of the observing public. Sure maybe Aidan O'Brien doesn't exist at all and is simply being portrayed on tv by an Equity actor.

The genius of Aidan O'Brien shines undimmed as he improves former Group 1 winner "Most Improved" out of all recognition, in its 2 runs for the Messiah the horse has managed to only beat one horse home a 16/1 rag in a 4 runner race.
The horses entry in the Group 1 QEII at Ascot looks extremely fanciful unless the rancid ones are up to their old tricks again but I doubt it in this case?.
All hail the King...

Another bit of fodder for you Silver, have a look at the 3.35 from Newmarket on Saturday, maybe you have seen it already as it has been flagged up on the Horse Racing forum, really blatant stuff.

Yeah oufies I commented on a few threads on the main forum, untouchable would be an understatement to describe this lot.
So powerful are they even persuaded the usually ruthless French stewards to allow Dylan Thomas to keep the Arc after causing severe interference. By French rules it was a slam dunk disqualification, well unless you're Coolmore it seems?.

It was a shocking ride, Johann had his ears pricked shortly after the line and didn,t know he had a race. Maybe in 7-8 months time we will be saying what a genius A O B was for giving him a nice introduction on the track?
