I know where you're coming from lustrumm. But, by the same convoluted logic, they often represent good betting opportunities when they are being written off !

True but that if anything is my point, you get drawn in. So for example you back Cork today at 7/4 (not there but that would be a pickle) then all of sudden you are sucked in again and the next thing is they get rolled at 4/9 in the Quarter final.
FWIW I think Kerry will win today |

Lustrumm some anachronism,a Corkman that eschewed his local university, knows betting markets probably worked in bookmaking for a while most likely in Dublin,,these observations are not meant to be insulting. |

2 of the Troika stayed true to their Stripes. Jeez how sore must Galway Hurling fans be. At least in Cork we know the Hurlers will come good eventually and they won't disappoint when that happens. I gave up on the footballers a long time ago and consider myself lucky to have been old enough to see them win a couple of All Irelands.
Cork need a whole new approach. |

Correct on price alone they were the paly. Thankfully I stayed away from everything because as sure as eggs are eggs if I had backed Kerry I would have bet the odds on Galway to seize their chance finally
