Caught the eye last time out, returning from a nine month layoff he raced towards rear (jumping ok ish enough)till taking closer order travelling very well on final circuit.  jumping really improved as he warmed up ,looked to have great chance two out but lack of recent run seemed to take its toll. Davy Russel in plate today, ground/trip to suit , only four pounds above last winning mark at Clonmel and with  run under his belt looks sure to put in a decent run. gl.

Very good summary of that run Oufie.
Not too gone on Old Pride in the 1st in Bellewstown at 7/4ish, seemed to bunny hop the first few last time, took a keen hold, has a hood and looked very one pace in the latter stages, taking him on with Goal and will place lay Old Pride.
Cervaza Dinero has the same conditions again though has a 12lb penalty for last time, still was impressive enough and chancing him at 13/2.GL

Well done with place lay Pa. Old Pride ran really strange race. Went more or less as you said it would though ,good call. Hard to know if Ruby would have won or not without mistake from leader. Big punt on winner in any case.

oufies,
you asked about the kid on mullins horse in the last?....Katie walsh has to ride for the doyels (something to do with the owner)..but I don't think mullins would put up this kid if he was crap?

He has been riding for 12 years apparently and has had 1 winner from 42 rides . His last ride on the race course was October 09.

Good old Pa Lapsy at it again, giving a 5/2 shot no chance and place laying and once again collecting and then tipping a sweet 7/1 winner owned by lads local to me.

Consistently the best tipster here and in the Keen Leader class.

Thanks lads,i,m no Keen Leader Wildman a good day today all the same after a couple of ropey weeks, a nice compliment though and thanks.
Funny how Mr T got mentioned today in another thread and agree with Oufies comment of what a strange race he ran.The horse previously has shown talent but in its last 4 or 5 runs has taken a keen hold, also looks as if he could do with extensive schooling as he is clueless over an obstacle, really seems to need a jockey(horseman) in the Carberry/Murphy or Russell mould and held up or even detached from the field imo.Think he could still be a talented enough horse but as yet the 'key' hasn,t been found.
Talking about key been found it certainly seems to be with Legal Lyric 6.40 Ros 5/2 with pp. Looks to me to be a case of totally ignoring the formbook(Lily of Kenmare beat her recently by a length and a half and is 16lb better in). Might be very glad of the extra 60 yards tomorrow more than at Limerick as she will surely be fast and late.

Pa that mare is the bane of my betting life ..Having backed her most times she ran at dundalk , and having been told by some cleaver lads on here that she would never win another race , I've left her alone her last few races , you know what happened....Cry....Keep up the good work ...
