How Davy Fitz tried to blame the ref is beyond me when they were hurled off the pitch and very few controversial decisions if any.He tried to be magnanimous for the rest of the interview but his initial reaction smacked off a manager attempting to look for a excuse.
Clare were passing the sliotar 7/8 yards with the receiving player gaining no advantage=Risk with no possible reward. |

the problem with fitz is,u need more than passion to bring to the table.passion is a given with any serious county outfit.i would bet some of his players are taken the piss out of him on the qt and when it starts to go wrong ,the piss take becomes wide spread.i have been in to many dressing rooms to read the signs.

Good shout with Cork King, from what I heard on radio, Clare were mismanaged, but there looks the bones of a good team there. Still, no team is young enough that they can afford to waste time like Clare apparently did today.
