137 views and no comments, nice write up dj, can only agree with you that he looks a fair bit overpriced and unless he runs well under par looks as near a good thing as one can safely say.

Dandino is a confirmed NR...I actually cant believe its 4-5 Id have it 2-5 and think it will be on the day.
Ive been happily taking the 4-5 most of the evening. If turns up 100 % on the day will win. |

Thanks for the heads up dj876. Have a nice bet single on SNA and also doubled with Dawn Approach, Best of Luck!

Price beginning to disappear 4/6 now with PP(4/7 generally)
8/11 with Spolis and VC is still way overpriced. Is AOB really going to run Moth in the Curragh on Sunday and then at Epsom 5 days later-Looking at the markets today she might bypass the Curragh and go straight to Epsom surely-maybe some value elsewhere for Sunday if so. Surprised no Irish Guineas threads yet. |

Well Moth is not in the betting for Sunday suggests its Epsom for her dj?.
Flying the Flag was a real eye catcher in France, seemed to be ridden like "today was not the day" but you got the feeling the horse would've been bang there if ridden with a bit more urgency sooner, not sure how strong the French race was? but at 16/1 for an O'Brien outsider worth having a nibble I think?. But I am a little worried since nepotism has taken over Ballydoyle in recent seasons that Colm and Seamie are getting less and less rides, but even when they have multiple entries the Joseph ridden horse is nearly always to the fore?, his ride in the colts classic Magician is taken a marked drop in trip so no surprise to see Magician try and make all, a tactic they often use anyway?. As for the fillies race, Maureen looked decidedly unlucky in running at Newmarket before staying on strongly so she'll do for me at the prices against the Hills horse. |

Ya Moth goes to Epsom.
It's a valid point you make about the recent riding arrangements with the ballydoyle runners. Obviously the ground will have a bearing on the race so it's hard to form a strong opinon at this stage Sg. I think Magician is under priced,I don't like horse stepping down in trip into Group1's and it was a weak group 3 over 10 furlongs that he won at Chester. As you have said Ballydole have set this race up from the front previously like Roddrick O' Connor(jOB'S first classsic I think)but this is a much stronger renewal and on good ground I think there will be a couple with too many gears for him. I don't like Trading leather,Dante form isn't that strong and stepping down in trip obviously. Fort knox is interesting for Johnny Murthagh and Sheikh Mo but this is a big step up in class Imo Richard Hannon has a stronger hand(if he runs both) than AOB in this representing both the Newmarket and French guineas form. I wouldn't rule out Havana Gold who overcame a bad draw to run a very promising race in a strong looking french Guineas(they all stayed at home, didn't go to Newmarket).Must watch race again and take a look at Flying the flag. However I really liked the way Van der Neer stayed on and the finish at Newmarket and the Curragh finish should be ideal for him. |

4/9 the best now I think ,dj876 . Backed it today at 1/2 ( guaranteed run ) myself . Looks like it only has to saddle up to win .

Hope you had the house on it at 4/5 , dj876 . Easy peasy , top European horse money winner of all time now .

Great spot DJ, the only reason he was that price was because it was ante post, maybe these markets put up on Group races in the weeks before are ones to look out for. He was priced as if they thought he might not run or something? I suspected they might pull Camelot toss him into the Tatts GC to get a 10f Group 1.
Hope they don't go into major hype mode with him now, he has always been a top class horse, it is just that the quality isn't there among the older horses this season. There are only 3 things he can do to substantially enhance his reputation now, win a 10f Group 1, win the Arc or win the Breeders Cup Classic. King Georges don't mean much in the breeding industry, Conduit & Harbinger being off out in Japan shows that. |

Yes, won as expected and nice to see everything work out perfectly. I said 2-5 above which was close with no dandino running. Wish it was always this simple. Powers 4-5 was huge.
Good luck all. |

And to think a genuine group one performer like St Nich was made look like a selling plater by FRankel?

By:
Yep , silver , may be a long time before we see the likes of Frankel again . Just hope some of his progeny inherit his talent .

Silver,That defeat to Frankel was not at St Nicks optimal distance,He's a mile and a half horse really.
