Rain stayed away and the meeting goes ahead,a mixed card, but not a very inspiring card at first glance.

Brilliant stuff, just what the forum needs. You are a reservoir of useless information. For fkuc sake give us a tip or something useful and stop stating the obvious.

Think the opening race is interesting as it involves a couple of horses who got close to Battle of Marengo and Indian Chief.
Orgilgo Bay has 7 runs to date,3 in listed and 1 in a G2,general style of running is trying to make all,not sure are they the correct tactics and maybe would benefit with a hold/covered up ride.Very possible he blew up on his reappearance at Gowran, still was disappointing though the 2f less tonight is in his favour.
Protestant ran a debut full of promise while not quickening stayed on well enough to the line, winner went onto be 3rd in the dante while the 2nd got a decent maiden at Tipp since.Bunreacht was 4th in that maiden beaten 12 lengths while Orgilgo Bay was 8 lengths behind Bunreacht at Gowran, maybe a false line of form as Orgiglo Bay almost certainly didn,t give a true running that day, nevertheless its there.
Suppose the way the race could pan out is with Orgiglo Bay as usual leading and Protestant sitting fairly close giving him evey opportunity to pounce later on.At 6/4 not much "value" but will have a little interest in him tonight.gl

like you pa..i like protestant,
8.30 fahamore
if his jumping holds on debut i think he,ll go close.

Couple in that race Tony that have a better hurdles rating, won,t be too put off by that and as you say ought to run well.
Generally won,t be too knowledgeable about UK lesser flat maybe its a pointer that Lee Westwood is bringing Darren Clarke to Windsor for his horse Hoofalong in the 8.40 (both playing at Wentworth this week) maybe the horses run is due to coincide with that. His win at Doncaster was impressive enough though think he got the run of it against the rails, don,t know much about his rivals being truthful but had a token bet at 4/1.

Hughes da man there alright Decalec, only a small bet(a few green shield stamps) as don,t know his rivals too well, more or less gave up with midweek uk racing as to big a pool of horses over there.Thought the two chuckie brothers going there was a pointer but could be totally wrong there.

The booking of Hughes caught my eye earlier on. Did not know who the owners were but the fact that M Easterby is coming to Windsor was somewhat interesting, but now that pa has enlightened us,(again), must keep a close eye on this race....

Think he touched around 5/2 WR bit awkward looking early but had a nice sit.
Cruised there alright dj, thought he was going to win easily, too close for comfort on a shortie, did beat Orgiglo Bay easy which was the only thing got right about the race.
