John Oxx will do things the correct way,top trainer.

I wouldn't be too worried about John Oxx, he is around the same level of Prendegast across the road from him.
Finished at the top level, won't be long till the owners also realise this. |

John Oxx is on a different stratosphere to Kevin Prendergast and always was. His horses have been quiet for a long time but his overall record is excellent. If Kevin Prendergast lived to be a 1000 he wouldnt win the races that Oxx has won. The one negative thing about Oxx from a punting point of view at least is that his horses, a bit like Gigginstown, are underpriced because they are almost always going to be doing their best. Thats not his fault though, but it may lead to some people believing he isnt a great trainer as alot of his fancied horses dont win. Kevin Prendergast on the other hand would break a Swiss Bank, and always would.

Oxx IMO is finished. Time to hand over the reigns to the young lad.
Its been quiet for a long time bar Sea The Stars. A very long time. He has a stable chock a block of good stock. Arguably 2nd best stable bar Bolger maybe. |
