should the wording be 6 horses trained by Aidan O'Brien won 6 2000 guineas or Aidan O'Brien won 6 2000 guineas?, Aidan really won nothing?

The horse won?

I'm just saying, when you think about it he won nothing, the abilty of his next best horse determines the noddy one?

He rode a few bumper winners and managed to turn up for work on time........He also bagged the biggest job in world racing imo.

Fair enough gant, but thats not what I was getting at, he's still only as good as his next good horse!

Anyone could train winners from Ballydoyle. I know for a fact that when he went there first he had to be shown how to train the yearlings and two year olds.

They obviously should have got the guy who showed Aidan how.

Is he a genius that so many in the media slurp on? or just a horse trainer?

Just like Brian Cody he always gives credit to the backroom team.

We all have our own opinions, beliefs and methods but why the constant need to regurgitate them thread after thread??
It's as if you're trying to impose your views on us.

As for Aidan O 'Brien,he wasn't born into this privileged position (unlike his son,not that I begrudge him either)and I think he must have got a lot right before Ballydoyle?

But you can say his son was shoved into, "nepotism.

Irish racing changed the weights to suit one guy, explain that one?

You're dead right as for that clown in Closutton, only for Ricci he'd be joining the dole queue!!

The rest of the world never moved why should they just to suit nepotism, a stain on Irish racing one again, how much more proof do you you need that Coolmore run Irish racing?

Please, the rest of the world up your weights because don't forget there happens to be a son of has a problem with his weight, so the whole goddamn world should do what daddy says?

We have all your favourite topics discussed on one thread now, what about Brosan's stud farm with all the stock by Coolmore stallions, huge conflict of interest surely?

Then dj why then didnt the whole wide world up the weights for maidens and conditions races?

beacause why would 9st be a problem for a flat jockey, and these coolmore fan boys thought that the rest of the world would follow suit for ONE PERSON?

Sure all Alex Ferguson ever won was the Scottish League Division 2 title twice

Don't know what all the fuss is about with him either

silvergreaser's series of increasingly cryptic unanswered posts from 11.45 onwards culminate in one of the most bizarre posts I have ever come across on here...Eric Cantona would be proud of it!

Sir Michael Stoute replied something along the lines of 'managing people is more nuanced than managing horses' when asked to compare the job he does to that Ferguson has just retired from.

Both tough jobs though, the pressure O'Brien is under must be immense, hope no one messes up on any of those Fastnet Rock 2yos this season, especially anybody directly related to the trainer!!

I'm very well Pa thanks, hope ye are all in good form here too, been away the last while and not too up to date with things. Lot of change on this site with sportsbook and all that. I see Bolger hasn't lost it anyway.

I,m grand Neill, sportsbook isn,t up to a lot just an occasional price thats near equal and then you are restricted to pennies, not a lot of value in the main early on the exchange particulary with the fancied ones usually better to wait till last few minutes.
Bolger is in good form, his horses seemed very forward a few weeks ago anyway.Bunreaicht(?) would be one of his that should get his maiden in the next run or two.

Not doing much betting wise myself at the moment, but I saw Mossie Joe's performance last night and he must be one to follow in Hunters if they can manage his bursting issues. He'd have a massive class edge a lot of the time. I wonder will they bring him to Stratford for the good Hunters race there. That Stoute filly in the Musidora looks a right prospect as well. I was blown away by her when she won in Goodwood last Autumn, I'll be backing her in the Musidora if I can get 6/4 or so, I rate her that highly. Stoute started Workforce off in a backend Goodwood maiden as well, even though he went off 3/1 odd, I always thought he ran his best first time out at Newmarket, it might be something to keep an eye on this season.

For tonight, the 6:15 looks a good little Novice Chase, I was very impressed with the way the point winning mare Caoimhe's Delight jumped on chasing debut in an ordinary Wexford mares event. I thought she was value for way more than the 4 1/2 length winning margin that night. It was one of those, it wasn't so much what she did but the way she did it kind of performances. I'm going to have a small bit on her tonight, she jumps beautifully.

GL anybody playing.... unless yer against mine that isMischief
