This classed as the best strokeplay event outside the majors. Fantactic Pete Dye design and similar to last week, the last 3 holes are super tough, so your never counting your money until the final putt.

Phil says he's carrying the driver this week but will probably not use it, which is no bad thing given the way he tends to spray it. His short game & putting were brilliant last week on very dodgey greens, so he's a starting point at 29'2 Win & Place here. Will add one or two later in the week after some more studying. GL.

Have gone with Luke 20s, Serg 33s, Zach 80s, Stenson 60s,all e.w top 6. Tossing up between Jimbo and Watney for final selection. Especially keen on Zach this week. He has been playing well in bits and pieces on courses that would be far from his ideal. This is more his cup of tea this week. Playing himself nicely into form for the Crowne Plaza in two weeks, where he will be very hard to dethrone. Luke has been also playing better than results suggest, he is due a good week with the flat stick, and seems sure to be involved. Stenson is coming back into the sort of form he was in when winning this a few years back. As much as i love Tiger, i am trying to stick to backing him on his favourite courses and majors. Has proved fruitful so far this yr, and he has never had an affinity with Sawgrass. Thinks the 17th is a circus, and turns the event into a lottery. At 8-1, there doesnt seem much value this week.

Even though runner up twice looks to be even better 1000/1 shots than Padraig this week, hope he finds something this week and not another last week.
Seems short and accurate off the tee players do wellish here. Furyk,Gay Kokkrak Knost and Maggert my few for starters.GL

Michael & Padraig you are both added, less than an hour & half to register lads.

Flood of money for Tiger this past 24 hrs, tend to agree with Callit, even though he has won here before don't think it's his course, but the way he's played this year wouldn't put it past him to streak away.

Liquidity like a major this week, Added Adam Scott & Nick Watney.

Final team:

Phil
Scott
Watney
Clark

Cracking round from Serg, hopefully he can tame the Tiger tomorrow. Like Huddys, its strange wanting Tiger to play poorly. Still cant believe he didnt win the Masters....fuc*in flag!! Nice finish from Stenson, puts him nicely in contention, though have to say i disappointed with Zach. Had numerous chances to take a strangehold on the event, but paid for his misses wit a couple of late bogeys.

If ever a tournament needs some hefty crosswinds to separate the men from the boys its Sawgrass, the weather has been far too good thus far hence the very low scoring, good weather gain today but 40% chance on Sunday of thunderstorms and between 10 to 20 mph winds, if that materializes then Sunday might make for more excitement especially the notorious 17th, where players nerves often crumble when wind comes into play.

Yeah, Sunday weather was always forecast to be the worst. Should thin out the contenders. Hopefully just wind and rain, no thunder storms.

Only catching up on play this morning as I was "away" yesterday .  Some pretty awful play from what I have seen so far , players missing greens  and pins by yards from no distance . Only one looking like he wanted to play well was Stenson , but he has drifted out considerably in the betting after hitting the front .

Weather must have been a factor , lots of putts short or looking like the ball did not want to even look like going close .  Think the leaders will have been glad they got a reprieve from the weather , could be someone coming from out of the clouds to rattle the leaderboard today though . Tiger and Sergio not enjoying each others company either  , if the delay contrives to put them out together for the last round , I would be looking elswhere --and they are 1 and 2 in the betting !

Could be an interesting evening / night !

Yeah, The leaders had a chance to put a lot of players out of the tournament last night, but they contrived to do the opposite. Hoping Serg or Stenson can bring home the bacon, and as Kelly alluded to, am glad Serg is not paired with Tiger today.

Pretty disgusted how things panned out there. Had 112.50 e.w Serg at 30s, and 57.50 e.w Stenson at 66s. When Garcia holed out at 16, he was in with a serious chance of winning, more or less guaranteed a top 6,...Stenson was tied 4th, one good tee shot away from guaranteeing his top 6. Worst case scenario...a nice place payout. Or so i thoughtLaugh. Have to say though, its a fuc*in delight watching the master at work, his celebration with La Cava saying it all....'i told you i would get this crack'. There are winners and losers in this world. We all know what heading Tiger comes under. If Garcia was ever in any doubt, he can now in full confidence phone the secretary in the morning, and tell her to file him away under L.
