I think this years NH season was one of the best and most enjoyable I have witnessed . 14 winners at Cheltenham and quality horses and races to see most weekends.The one big downside is the looming total domination of the scene by the Willie Mullins stable.

Willie Mullins keeps raising the bar and this can only be good for others. Breeders getting good money for unraced stock and in training sales are flying.
It's all about keeping the standards high and in the public eye. We see how some of our smaller sports in Ireland are really struggling. Poor standards = poor crowds= big problems. |

GANT =100% . ONE THING WAS REAL SHOCKED AT THAT NOT MORE UK TRAINORS BRING FEW OVER AS SERIOUS PRIZE£. MULLINS IS THE BENCHMARK BUT FAIR PLAY OLEARY SENDS HIS TO LOTS TRAINORS AND THEY NOT AFRAID TAKE EACH OTHER ON , I WAS THERE ON THURS WAS EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY LOVED THE LAID BACK APPROACH AND FAIR PLAY ALL BOOKIES 1/4 ODDS UNLIKE ENG WERE THEY TIGHTER THAN D U CKS ASS. THINK I MIGHT TRY STOP OVER FOR LADIES DAY
