Didn't win , but put up one hell of a performance .  Indeed if two decisions from the selected ref and linesman had been kinder to them , they could conceivably have won .

Paul O'Connell played magnificently , along with most of the team , how can he do that if he was supposedly doubtful --or was that just a blind ?

Think Leinster are the best team in Europe , just unlucky the way things panned out for them in the depths of winter .

Yes. Great effort indeed. The Munster spirit very much alive. Very big call by the ref on the forward pass at the end that I think he got wrong.

Didnt see tonights game in fact I totally forgot about it I was busy painting my daughters bedroom so cant make any comment on the game, but Kelly didn't Leinster just scrape pass Clermont in the semi final last year by the literal skin of their teeth? and Clermont beat Leinster much more comfortably than the final scoreline suggests at the Aviva in the pool stages so to say Leinster are the best team in Europe might just be a little spray of green mist (blue) clouding your vision?.

Leinster are still a powerful outfit but imo Clermont are currently top of the tree and deservedly so.

If you had been a "certainty " Clermont backer tonight , silvergreaser , you would have been sh***ing bricks for the last 20 minutes of the game . Munster were in control , just hadn't the one individual player with that bit of genius to put the favs to the sword .  Mind you the ref and linesman did  Munster no favours in that period .

The Munstermen , who have taken a lot of flak this season , can hold their heads up high .

As I said Kelly I didn't see the game but Munster are an extremely experienced Heineken cup team and I wasnt one bit surprised that they put it right up to Clermont, as for the dodgy decisions I just put on Sky Sports news maybe they might show them?.

O Gara was excellent with his kicks for touch at the end.  Pity that pass was given forward as the Munster train was heading for the line.
