Very hard not to have been impressed with Away We Go and the way he was swinging into the straight in the Irish national,in the end just ran out of it.However he remains on the same mark, the distance is 3m5f again, the current ground at Sandown is good which shouldn,t be a hindrance as he has won on good to firm in his career. Tend to take notice when WPM goes overseas.
Of his rivals Well Refreshed has gone up 13lb for his impressive victory at Haydock, while he seems to handle good, softer might be his optimum and he does have a tendency to make errors,Hadrians Approach ran well in good class races, unproven at the trip however.Same difference won the Kim Muir and is up 7lb for that,a line through Romanesco gives him a chance. Not too sure of the rest,Mr. Moss and Queintin Colloges finished within a half length in the Grimthorpe, don,t think thats good enough,Michel Le Bon came back to form with a good win but up 9lb.A lot of the others seem out of sorts.
With the form of WPM at the moment 8/1 looks very fair to me for Away We Go

I really like calculated risk in the first at Sandown,up 6lbs from his Ascot win where everything when against him during the run but still got there, useful Claimer Dean Pratt(recent winer at Aintree) takes 7lbs off.

Just read on the main forum the sponsors were going 10/1 5 places for a limited time this morning, that would have been a nice bet Monksland, though probably to small money. Some on the thread thimk he mightn,t get up the hill that well which is a fair point, thought he stayed on fair enough Easter Monday myself after coming the bridle.
WPM says he travelled over well but he has a slight worry the race may come too soon.Given he travelled so well for most of his last run and 26 days since, hope his worries are misplaced there.
GL with your bets for the last big UK race of their NH season.

Not sure he might have been good enough but thought the jock on yours panicked dj when the pace lifted just after 3 out, going very well to that point.
