Howya Blue, nothing like that in Ireland though i think its a good idea. Hardly would be 20 handicaps a week even in the height of summer racing. Obviously each handicap would have its own bands to which horses are eligible, but prizemoney and course can give a bit of a guide ie Bellewstown/Sligo would probably be easier to win in say leopardstown/Curragh. Somebody else might be able to help you more definiately but thats my take on it.

You having a crack off these handicaps Bluenose? . For a 20 runner field Sweet lightning is responsible for nearly 1/2 the amount traded on the whole race. Much prefer to get involved in the flat myself after they have a few runs, saying that Sweet lightning has done well on his reappearance in seasons past, touch of class with him as well and no worries with trip or ground, open looking race with a few potential improvers in it. Very best of luck with him Blue.

Maybe Bluenose,WPM usually does well in the handicaps at Punchestown, pity there was a false start as Ruby had him in a lovely position up the inside in midfield first time around, jumped off nearly last in the actual race. Not sure he would have won in any case as Call Rog did it handy enough. Think what you have with him is a very good "traveller" who may not find a "gear".A good "place4profit" horse imo. 3 miles seems no prob and looks well suited by it.
