5.15 KANDINSKI
has decent form in bumpers..went down a length lto to a gigginstown horse..JAZZ CONCERTO is the fly in the ointment if the money comes at meads local track..breeding alone says it could be nice.

Coudn,t disagree with you, 3 strong runs to date the possible exception the run behind King of Firth.Suppose he will try and make all.
Jazz Concerto is weak enough at this point.GL

Bonisland and Kandinski double for me today. Bonisland has solid form in decent races and looks more solid than the WPM horse. Kandinski should have his day today.

Disappointing show from City Slicker again, seems to be one to take on with heavy in the going.
Report lapsy pa March 18, 2013 3:56 PM GMT
Nice performance from Some Tikket, never out of first gear, handled the ground well even if his jumping could be a little more fluent. Better things to come from him.
Report lapsy pa March 18, 2013 4:12 PM GMT
In a post race interview Mr Weld had no hesitation nominating him for the 2 1/2m grade 1 at Punchestown and maybe after reverting between the two codes, said he ought to be suited by better ground.
Report punchestown March 18, 2013 4:46 PM GMT
Would love to see that horse on better ground so if DKW says so,travels like a dream.
Report newapproach March 18, 2013 4:51 PM GMT
Impressive performance from suntiep in the first. Based on its three runs, the horse looks tough as nails and a real out and out battler.
Report kingrat March 18, 2013 7:31 PM GMT
was it the ground tony?Shocked
Report richters March 18, 2013 9:41 PM GMT
lads not being smart but anyone that backed mr mcsweeney on an evs or odds on shot on a serial 2nd finishing animal deserves all they get imo......
Report Allduckornodinner March 18, 2013 10:44 PM GMT
It's some testament to connections that Suntiep is undefeated in three starts because he is one slow beast and horrible looking to boot. If he was with a lesser trainer he'd be running mawkishly in 0-102 handicap hurdles. It's not quite the achievement of winning five in a row with Quevega but I imagine Mullins is pretty pleased to have pulled three races out of that horse. The horses tenacity is a big help in getting through barely raceable ground too like in his debut victory in Limerick.

Allduck u better hope silvergreaser doesn't see that comment about Mullins and Suntiep Laugh
Report Allduckornodinner March 18, 2013 11:03 PM GMT
Silver is probably still on cloud nine after the much maligned Philip Rothwell had a double yesterday CR!
Report Allduckornodinner March 18, 2013 11:06 PM GMT
Am I going mad or was WMFB's comment prior to my initial post pulled? Worse than the fooking Gestapo around here.
Report wildmanfromborneo March 19, 2013 9:36 AM GMT
There was nothing offensive in my post.
Suntiep was a drifter in all his runs as he is one of those that shows nothing at home,he is one that the insiders have got consistently wrong.
Report Rocketfingers March 19, 2013 10:18 AM GMT
I think the pulling of Wildman's post is as much to do with BF saying hey "we're watching you, we're not happy with you and we think you annoy some of the best posters on the forum, going forward watch it!"

Report wildmanfromborneo March 19, 2013 11:26 AM GMT
A typically egotistical reply from Rocketfingers with the customary cliche followed by a lone smiley from the second part of the double act.

Another selection by Tony57 another Fav beaten.  Can you tip anything else up other than a fav?
Report lapsy pa March 19, 2013 2:54 PM GMT
Bws did him myself as you can see from above(11/8 before withdrawal of Meades one) don,t know would i have taking the odds on if i knew Meades one was a n/r as i thought it was a bit of an ask on heavy first time out.
The form of the winners third last time wasn,t great,he improved a bit with Kandinsky finding nothing  and dogging it late on again.
Kandinsky despite his form lines looks hard to win a race with.
Report richters March 19, 2013 5:45 PM GMT
lapsy change the jockey change the result......the jock on the runner up looked like he was hurting the anim al imo

I notice you said nothing when I put up a nap of 6/1 at Cheltenham?..im not one for banging my own drum but ive put up a good few winners (as well as losers)..that's racing..but ive never seen a tip of yours?..its easy to have a go..i accept criticism..but if you can do better ..lets see...
Report kingrat March 20, 2013 11:19 AM GMT
i agree with bigwillyWink
Report lapsy pa March 20, 2013 11:33 AM GMT
Bigwilly is a decent judge Tony,he knows his stuff with Irish racing to be fair.
Still thought before the race kandinsky was overpriced on what he shown up to then,( was touching odds on with the exchanges before withdrawal)
Whether as Richters said Jock or he dogged it,doesn,t matter money gone, move on.
Report Bigwillystyle March 20, 2013 11:59 AM GMT
See Shinrock Paddy thread Tony57.  One of the last tips i put up.  None of this Fav rubbish
Report Bigwillystyle March 20, 2013 12:02 PM GMT
Im only having a laugh Tony.  Dont be so precious.  Tyner horse is very one paced and does all his running on the bridle.  Not one for me at those prices.  When a horse runs up a series of placed efforts like him they should be given a wide berth for the sake of your pocket.  Will win a race but not before it has been beaten at short enough odds a good few times.
Report tony57 March 20, 2013 1:25 PM GMT
fair enough bigwilly,
as I said I don't mind anyone having ago..thats only right and proper when its justified..you may have a point over tyners horse but I got on before meads come out and to be fair it looked the winner till the finnish ..we know that's racing..im sorry if I seemed to have a go..but I did only mean that I have not seen your tips..(not that you don't tip)..
