Heve filled my boots with the 14s on offer on this lad, still available with Hills, and 14 on here. Races off 133, i be shocked if he wasn't a far superior animal than that paltry rating. Very impressive in a maiden hurdle at Leop Christmas 12 months ago, he then stepped up to take on Boston Bob on his next start. Travelled like much the best horse for most of the way, fading before the last, finishing third to Boston Bob and Lyeen Legend, moral winner and actual second of the Sun Alliance. MYM disappointed at Chelt behind Simonsig, but disappointing because so much was expected, he started at 15-2. How many of the horses giving him weight tomorrow would have fared much better?? He had a nice little pipe opener recently, when v weak in the market. Willie took this two year ago with a similalry unexposed type....Sir Des Champs!! I would be very surprised if he has not been laid out for this, and would expect him to start favourite.
Won't start fav though with Gevrey Chambertain at the head of the market, certainly single figures (2nd or 3rd fav) is very probable

Got a bit tired later on Callit, ran a good race in a competitive field and got the place. Did Bourne myself Jay,while he wasn,t greatly handicapped on last years run,he is a likeable horse who generally plugs on.Brought to a complete standstill by the fallers stayed on well at the finish. Decent handicap in him still i,d think.

ok pa, I was looking at the Pipe race to see the chances of the top boys that were not on the scoreboard, and let PN's horse run........
Pa, would you give Overseer any chance tomorrow at Uttoxeter, in the marathon / slow as a boat but would outstay the mother-in-law.........

Awful hard race that Uttoxeter one, think most would have a chance, few down at the bottom of the weights seem to have a fair chance, i,d be very neutral overall with no opinion Jay. Had a good bet on Edmundo last time he ran and he was just touched off, up a 1/2 mile tomorrow at Down Royal which i think is more his trip he really should be thereabouts and while not the biggest price he would be a strong fancy for me.

Bit surprised to see that Edmumdo as high as 5/1 this morning. The fav Court Jester had a couple of previous winners behind him when he showed improved form to win last time and Induitably ran a good race last time as well. Still can,t see Edmundo not being thereabouts barring mishaps, unless i,m reading the race lapsy.Think he looks a cracking each way bet with the 4 places.

I think Make Your Mark would have sh*t in on good ground. If we get a dry spell before Punch, he will tear a handicap apart off that mark. Disappointed His Excellency fell too, was scything through them . Winner had a tonne in hand, but reckon he would have been second. Can't complain though, Jane Mangan coming unstuck resulted in my most profitable ever day.....so giving out about a bit of bad luck would be bad form!! Will have a few quid on Edmundo Pa. It could be time to get on Dufner for the Masters too...he slowly hitting form, could be set for take off soon, and when he does hit a rich vein of form, he generally keeps it going for awhile.
