Four Leinster quarter finals down for tomorrow night...

Laois v Wicklow
Meath v Kildare
Dublin v Longford
W'meath v Wexford

Any opinions?

Meath will struggle against an experienced Kildare team. There is not one player in the senior panel. Conor Sheridan at centre field is about the only one who got a taste of senior football this year. Kildare have Niall Kelly, Daniel Flynn and Paddy Brophy all impressed in the league. Also Tommy Moolick, Sean Hurley, Padraig Fogarty and Fionn Dowling are quality players.

Meath have a game under their belt having beat Louth well two weeks ago. But this is a step up, I reckon Kildare with Kieran McGeeney involved could walk this. Hope not though!

I would think longfords victory over Dublin will not be surpassed in shocks of the year...1/12 and shorter were Dublin...after hammering carlow by 50 points last week ..the papers were calling for Dublin teams to be split in two!...what now Two Longford teams???...

The gas thing is that Dublin were long odds on initially at around 1/7 but shortened in to 1/10 and 1/12 . Precisely the same trend in the odds occurred last year in the U21 Leinster hurling when they were beaten by Laois

Major shock. Although thirteen of the Longford starting fifteen won a Leinster MFC in 2010.

Kildare tore Meath open in the second half, Wexford got a late goal in extra time to beat Westmeath and Laois walloped Wicklow.

Semi's
Wexford Longford
Kildare Laois
