Probably is a bit short to be fair Newmanix but Linfield are having a poor enough season, looking to be the under in that match. Should be tense tight game. GL if you play

Linfield have scored in their last 15 league games, and seem to be up for this tonight.  I think overs @ 1.9 or better may be the call.

actually they have scored in 27 of 30 games, and 2 of the 3 blanks came in the opening 2 games last Aug.

I think n/irish football is behind our own , Even though Rovers are only just back playing , They'll still beat linfield tonight ....I think there'll be a lot of needle in this game ...Those that hold their head will win , Sure to be fireworks both on and off the pitch ...Sadly this will take away from the game , I can just see those reporters rubbing their hands in anticipation of trouble brewing , Hopefully both sets of supporters behave themselves and let the football do the talking....

Shamrock haven't had the smoothest pre-season, while Linfield who may be having a poor season by their own standards they are a clear joint second albeit with a game more played. It is probably true that while our league is better I am going to take a chance against Shamrock based on Linfields match fitness and that Crolly doesnt prolly his best team and formation. We, Sligo Rovers that is look very tight at 1.41ish in our first competitive fixture we will we adding a new striker and centre half but the rest of the team will pick itself.

Rovers 2 up against linfield whilst sligo are 4 up at the break against glentoran.

Not taking anything away from both rovers but it must be the worst big 2 teams in a long time.

Only crusaders at the moment salvaging any pride for the Irish league.

Newmanix asks a question of footsie experts and first to reply was Rocketfingers naturally everything he said about the match was wrong.

One day by accident he has to get something right.

Wildman i can't get everything right, to be fair i honestly thought Linfield would be better than that. LOI won 12-2 v Irish league last night. Btw i thought it was pathetic the Shams fans with the tri colours in their stand trying to get a rivalry going with Linfield, are they trying to be like Celtic? Most of their fans would not be able to tell you the differences between Catholics or Protestants or Republicanism and Unionism well certainly not the 2 on here anyway. They've not widely traveled either so i doubt many have been past Dundalk, so why behave like that?

The 2 on here as you call them seem to travel Europe in support of their team and are exemplary fans.

You seem to have omitted the fact that the Linfield supporters raised a Union Jack.

Somebody tell me tha the Glens (and Linfield) didnt have full strength teams out last night because Castlebar Celtic were better than the visitors to the Showgs last night. Anthony Elding, looks the business for us, real Alan Shearer type meant to be lethal in training, I had the 14's 11-1 still left with Powers for top scorer.
