Good Morning.

what is the ground reported as in fairyhouse lads and what is the weather forecast please ?

It's a lovely dry morning with the odd little bit of snow spitting now and again.

Im 10 minutes drive away from fairyhouse john,cold morning with a bit of wind so wrap up well if your going out,fairyhouse is cold at the best of times,ground is soft,heavy in places,riding dead ground.

1.00 Stocktons Wing has been operating at a higher level and if trained by WPM would be odds on .
1.30 Glens Melody . Looked special a Leopardstown and I think is improving fast.
2.00 Our Girl Salley. Back over hurdles rated 7lb below last seasons mark and has been running well without wiining over fences.
3.10 Marasonnian . Ran really well against Lord Windermere and longer trip should suit.
3.45 Tammys Hill. Looked different class and should give the weight away to these.

Dogora (Paul) runs in the 4yo hurdle over 2 miles. He has done nothing wrong since joining us but this is a major rise in class. He is improving all the time and his recent homework has been good. He will handle this ground and we will find out today how good he is. We have two in the 2m 4f mares novice hurdle. There is only 1lb between them on official ratings and Patrick will probably put up a couple of pounds overweight on Tasitiocht. However, she is doing good work at home and it won’t be a surprise if she finishes in front of Glens Melody (Paul) today. However, with her weight allowance, Byerley Babe, could be the one to beat. Away We Go (Paul) goes for the 2m 4f handicap hurdle. He disappointed after starting off well for us. However the trip and light weight here will be to his advantage and he has each-way prospects. Prince De Beauchene (Paul) is in the Bobbyjo Chase over 3m 1f. He won this race last year but this is a much hotter renewal. He showed his wellbeing at Limerick at Christmas and we are hoping he can maintain that form. He will handle the ground and track. Marasonnien (Paul) goes for the 2m 5f beginners chase. This ground will be to his liking and the extra 2f will also suit. He has come on since his last run and we are expecting him to run a big race today. Wicklow Gold (Patrick) runs in the bumper. He made good improvement from his first to his second run and seems to have improved again since. He ran up against a hotpot at Navan but hopefully he might go one better here.

Good racing indeed,not sure i,ll have a bet this afternoon.
Novice hur,PP chase and the bumper look crackers tomorrow.
In the novice chase(no prices yet) pending on the odds leaning towards Sweeney Tunes,Mikeal and Charlies vic won,t be guaranteed to get round.GL all.

good man workrider and santry too ..... good racing in Kempton too i m very tempted by Alan King s Lunique at 9/2 in the grade 2  juvenile hurdle 2.05 really like its attitude so far one question mark is encountering the better ground for the first time today ....Hot enough race and  Stable has been quiet but they are after winning the first with Midnight Sail so i think i ll chance it ....

I suppose you all lumped on Tasitiocht when Willie said it wouldn't be a surprise if she finished in front of Glens Melody today?.

Willie just equalled Aidan O'Briens 155 winners in a NH season.

We have two in the Boyne Hurdle over 2m 5f Thousand Stars (Ruby) has never raced here but will like the testing track. On ratings this looks like an ideal opportunity. On His Own (Paul) starts his Grand National campaign here and we are hoping for a good solid run.

and before Glens Melody's previous run,

We have two in the Listed Mares Novice Hurdle over 2m 2f. Zuzka (Ruby) won impressively here at Christmas and would only have to reproduce that form to win again today. Glens Melody (Paul) was third in that race and the experienced gained that day may help her to earn some black type here.

Amazing what a 1lb drop in the weights does for your amazing powers of recovery eh Wille?.
